they are very comfortable and I love the hand protection
I gave them a 4 star cause my hands got really hot and sweaty. I usually use Cleto reyes for sparring and tried these on, they are very comfortable and I love the hand protection, but at times I felt like ripping them off and dipping my hands in an ice bucket. Maybe Im being too unfair and it was a hot day at the gym. Happy with them for the price, the good outweighs the bad by miles, just being honest and sharing what I noticed.

I really like these Rival gloves
I really like these Rival gloves. I use these as my spare pair for now, and train with a pair of Title Platinum Ultimate Sparring Gloves due to the ease of their velcro straps. These look great, feel great, as long as you don't mind lace-up gloves. I plan to use these for sparring due to the extra protection around the wrist.

These gloves fully exceeded every expectation I had. I know that Rival is an excellent company but these gloves are beyond excellent.. The fit is awesome. I would be shocked to meet anyone who does not like these gloves. Outstanding gloves!!! One of my best boxing purchases ever.

Nice gloves
My previous "16 oz" gloves were over 20 oz each. These gloves are much closer to the rated weight. When you are sparring you need all the speed and energy you can get. Also the fit and wrist support is very good. I use these mostly for sparring and mitt work and my heavier gloves for bag work.

Great gloves
These are great gloves. They aren't stuff when you first get them and they already feel broken in. The padding is excellent I spar wit heavyweights and I've thrown punches full power and didn't feel anything on my knuckles. The wrist could be a bit more snug and the laces are quite long but besides that they're great.

Great quality and protection
I love these gloves... It offers a ton of protection, particularly on the thumbs which I have injured many times in older cheaper gloves. It fits comfortably and has a pretty low profile design for being 16oz. Really good quality for the price.

Beautiful firm grip
Beautiful firm grip. I've used a lot of gloves before if your not getting winnings witch are $400 than this is the best 2nd choice !!
