It works, but turning on/off and charging is a little unusual.
Bought one of these for a in house litter tray on the landing at the top of our stairs. I can 100% say it works. Sure, if a cat had just gone for a number 2, it's going to smell. But with two cats, we often wake to a couple of droppings in the tray and it stank the landing out when we open the bedroom door. Now, we can barely tell they have used the tray over night. It does do what it claims.Charging is a little odd. The device will not charge if it is turned on, even if the battery is low. You have to hold the power button to get the red 'off' light and then plug it in and you'll get a constant blue flashing charge light. If you don't do this, no charge light. So far so good. Battery seems to last between 1 and 2 weeks on a full charge.Very tempted to get another for another litter tray in a downstairs utility room.

DOESN’T WORK
Please do not waste your money, it doesn’t work in the slightest. I have trialled it for weeks to see if my opinion changes but it still stands. DOES NOT WORK. I would give it 0 stars if i could.

Seems to work but very strong light
The media could not be loaded. I'm not very sensitive to smells so I'll take their word for it that it is removing bad odours from the air.My complaint is that the blue light is very powerful. I have it in my bedroom and the amount of light it casts in a dark room is substantial. At nights I put it out the way in a cupboard and in the mornings I take it out.I haven't stuck it on a wall so I can't comment on that aspect.I wouldn't recommend it because of the way, way too powerful light. It annoys me in a big way.NOTE 1/9/23: The light has turned red again. Within about fifteen minutes of noticing it the light on the device died. The battery lasted circa 13 days. They claimed it should last two weeks so that is accurate to my experience but frankly in practice it feels too soon to need recharging already. I can't say I'm thrilled about that. Do I really want to have to recharge this device so often? I can't say that I do. I don't think it's worth the effort. I'm dropping my rating from 3 to 2 stars because the battery needs recharged too often. Also I can't repeat enough how much the blue light is way too powerful as it nearly lights up a dark room.NOTE 12/9/23: It needed recharged again. It lasted about eleven days. For something you ignore in the background that is too demanding if it needs recharged so often. Also that blue light remains way too strong! I should try and cover it up but due to the design I don't think it can be easily covered.NOTE 22/9/23: It needed recharged again. It lasted about ten days. Not great.

Im unsure
Im unsure on this as i have put this near out cat litter tray and i haven't really noticed that much difference. It is easy to use and it doesn't take long to charge up but i don't know if its actually working. I would say its marginally better but to be honest without some sort of scent its hard to tell

Can't notice the smell
Our cats litter is in our bedroom, usually when we normally come from work we would straight away be able to notice the smell when one of them went to the toilet. After getting this device and setting it up very easily, the next day I totally didn't realise the smell of the litter until I went to the toilet. Great product

It works!
I have no idea how this works. It doesn't make sense to me, thought it could be just a placebo. But nope, somehow, what it's doing is working very well. It has reduced the smell by around 60%, if not more. I can smell straight away when the battery has run out and it needs charging again. Which is unfortunately more often that I would like. But other than only getting around a week of use out of (which is in fairness a busy area) I can't fault it, worth it for the cost.

Works for small areas
This works best for small litter boxes, placed in small areas. Acts more as an odor neutralizer more so than a deodorizer.

Helpful Odor Reduction
Much to our surprise, placing this device in the Kitty Litter Box significantly reduced the odor. It works best if placed in a covered litter box as it only works for a relatively small area and is not likely to help much in a large area with frequent air changes. It is also a bit finicky when re-charging is required, and it may need to be turned off and then on again to get it to re-charge; they don't tell you this in the instructions which are minimal at best. You do need to supply your own 5V charger which is easy to get; don't use a larger voltage as it may injure the battery. We now have 2 of these devices, and in covered litter boxes they are noticeably effective. For some reason, it takes 2-3 days after initial installation to really work, so withhold judgment on its effectiveness for a couple of days.

Works when on
The unit creates an ozone-like scent as you would get from an electronic air filter or powerful ionizer.I have these issues with the unit:1) When installed as instructed so motion nearby disables the unit, it's off when it's most needed at the time of litter use. It will turn itself back on roughly 10 seconds after movement but in standby mode providing no odor control when it's most needed.2) When on continuously the unit will provide roughly 3-4 days of use before the battery dies. It takes about 7+ hours to get back to full charge though the manual states 4-5 hours.I'm considering departing from instructions and moving the unit to where motion will not be detected.
