I think you stand a good chance. My router is in the back upstairs bedroom and a good signal reaches the bottom of the garden 30 yards away. I can’t say whether the shed would make a difference. It might also be relevant that the incoming Yirgin Media signal is in theory 200 mbps and in practice is usually 80mbps. Good luck!.

You will need an Ethernet cable that goes into the tp-link and then that Ethernet cable plugs into your wifi box

No, put it in another room to extend the range. My router is in a room at the front of the house, this device is in a wallsocket in a back bedroom, so I can use my iPad in the back garden. I don't know how far away you can separate them: I think that is trail and error. Very, very occasionally it stops working, but I find that switching it on an off solves the problem. A very useful little device.

Easy to install

I’m not techie in any way but I managed to install this almost successfully! It works fine but I can’t use the app for some reason and my passwords wouldn’t work - have no idea why. But despite that, I’m getting a decent signal in a room that had previously been impossible to use - money well spent.

Extender works well - very good service from seller

I had a plug problem with the wifi extender, but the seller speedily helped me out, so I didn't have to return it. The extender now working well. Top marks for the service I received.

2 Pin Euro plug ...Beware.

Great product but this comes with a 2 pin Euro plug, when you use a convertor (depending on where in the home) it sticks out quite a bit. Go for a 3 pin if in UK.

Item does not have European plug as described

I am having to return this item unused as it arrived with a square UK plug & not a universal or European plug as described. I cannot use the item as it is intended for use in our home in Spain.However I have repurchased the item through Amazon.esp & it arrived as quickly as if from the UK - excellent Amazon service as usual. It seems to be of good quality. I'm hopeful it will serve its purpose in Spain.

Sold in UK with EUR plug

Okay, my bad for not studying the product photo but Vendor, shame on you for not pointing out - this requires a EU-to-UK adapter! So UK buyers beware and add in the expense of the adapter. Also, only minor improvement in remote room download/upload speeds.
