Bought these to fix controller drift on ps5. I did some research and found out that the potentiometers for the ps4 controllers are the same as the ps5. Took a punt to see if they would work and they are identical to ps5. Didn't even need to do any soldering as you can prize the potentiometers back and just replace the metal coil. Have tested the controller on a gamepad testing app and they work perfectly now. How long they will last I dont know, but £6.99 for 20 potentiometers is cheaper than £60 for a new controller, even if I have to keep replacing them every 6 months!!Edit; well 2 months on and stick drift happening again, pretty drastic too, I'll keep changing them until I've used them up but i will probably buy a new controller as the original worked for at least 2 years, not 2 months. Won't be buying them again.

The first one I fitted into an Xbox controller to overcome stick drift did not work properly.A second fitment worked well for about 2 months before stick drift happened again.A third fitment worked well, I shall see how long this lasts before the carbon slide resistance wears out.
