It also wasn't very accurate - sometimes it was only off by a couple of degrees, but one time it recorded a temp of over 2400 degrees F in my living room (I expected to come home and find my house in flames, but it wasn't), and another time it recorded a 20 degree shift in the middle of the night when my heat wasn't on. After a week or so, it refused to connect to the wifi, just like the previous one. I'm pretty tech savvy, and wasted waaaaaaay too much time trying to trouble shoot this thing because I really wanted it to work. Be smart, don't buy this thing.
