The best floodlight I've bought.
This is a very compact work light, that's much less cumbersome than the LED ones with a frame and handle that look a bit like the old halogen lamps.Firstly, the light is very bright. Easily the 20W claimed, as it's much better than 10W and 15W lamps I've also got. The throw is very good too, giving a nice 'flood' effect. The Low setting is also still pretty good, but does save considerable battery power using smaller LED's on the outer ring. it effectively doubles the time you can use it. The Red and Flashing Red use similar LED's to the Low light setting, and would easily been seen by motorists at night, or if used as a distress beacon. The switch at the back has a positive 'click' each time it's pressed as you cycle through the modes. The cover for the USB In and Out is water sealed and neatly recesses over the switch when fully open, leaving the back still flat and less chance of breaking the cover off.The lamp charges fairly quickly, depending on the current output of your USB supply. There's no real state of charge until it's full, when a green LED lights up. I've not run it completely flat, but from "it's obviously getting low" to "fully charged" took about 5 hours. On that you can easily get 4 hours of full bright light. It's great that you can use the USB out to charge your phone or something, and is becoming more prevelant in battery powered devices. The lead they supply to charge the lamp can also be revered and used from the lamp to charge your phone. The handle/stand is nicely recessed, and moves through 180 degrees, with nice loud clicks at intervals to lock it. There are finger indents in it to make it easier to carry, too.The batteries aren't removable, which is good for sealing the lamp but I suspect a couple of 18650's are hiding in there and may need to be replaced some years in the future. It's certainly well made though, and looks pretty tough too.I've a few different battery-powered floodlights, and this is certainly the best, by far.

Small but super bright.
Very, VERY bright work light. It is small enough to fit in my trouser pocket and bright enough to light up our work area. I have used it in the loverly Yorkshire rain and it did not fail me.I have been for the last few weeks working on nights outside on the railway around Huddersfield and Halifax, this work light has made my job much easier. It has coped with all weathers (obviously not hot) and it lasts for ages. The only down side I can find with it is it doesn’t have a magnetic connection. My solution is to buy a separate one, or a hook. The light has 4 settings, High, low (bright enough for what we need), constant Red and Flashing Red.I have even used it to charge my phone whilst out in the middle of nowhere.

Electrical connections break easily
After a few charges, the charging connection worked loose then snapped off inside the unit, making it unusable.Initial review: good brightness with a lower illumination setting, light and portable. Just what I needed for moving around the garden for plant photography. Unlike some reviewers, I found the lamp charged quickly.

Superb Light
An excellent multi-functional light - 2 levels f white, constant red and flashing red (useful if car breaks down). Battery capacity is high and lasts for ages if doing work in dark area. Very well built. Easy to charge and can also provide USB power out - great to keep in boot of car for emergencies and for general use around house and outside. So good have recommended to others who have also bought one.

Handy Portable Re-Chargeable Floodlight
A brilliant little light for its intended purpose. I found this floodlight competitive in price and promptly delivered. It charges easily following the clear instructions and as yet I have not run the charge out on any one occasion of 2-3 hr use in addition to holding shelf life charge well. Light and compact, used in inclement wet conditions without problem. Generally find the lower light level perfectly adequate resorting only very occasionally to the full brightness. Haven't as yet had occasion to use the steady or flashing red light but confident these would serve well as and when called upon. I never give 5 stars in case time lets an item down, though in this case that is growing progressively unlikely. Highly recommended for site, construction, DIY work and leisure.

Well worth the money!
Extremely bright, solid construction and doesn't feel cheap. The light comes with four lighting modes:Full BrightnessLow BrightnessRed OnRed SOS FlashThese give you plenty of options depending on your situation. The charge time is about 8 hours on 5V 1A and the light will last for about 4 hours on full brightness. The light also has a USB 2.0 port on the back allowing you to charge a device from it if you so wish.Another thing worth noting is that the light can be used whilst charging.

Great light, but the charge indicator is misleading
A great product - based on the CAT work light, but with some improvements. The only blemish on the fine product, is the charge indicator doesn't work properly. Unit has been on charge for over 12 hrs from a 2.1A source, and still shows only one red light. Shame, because you can't tell how nearly flat it is.
