Awesome pull-up bar
I mounted this thing in my garage, used the lag bolts that came with it right into the studs in the ceiling. Feels like it’s built well, was super easy to put together and now every time I walk into the garage I get some pull-ups in. Grips are nice, not too big and not too skinny.

Sturdy
I've pulled myself up many times using this bar. It does its job. The soft grip has been very durable as well.

Worked for me mounted straight down
I'm 175 lbs and it's sturdy enough for me. I mounted it hanging from a joist, straight down. It creaks a bit for me, so any heavier and you might be pushing it. Mine came with bolts sheared off so it didn't work for someone, obviously. Mine is semi exposed to the elements so I wasn't too concerned with it being previously mounted. It's thin hollow tube but it's good enough for the price

Used in son's room - now does pull-ups daily. EZ installation with minimal ceiling impact.

Works. Nothing i dont like.
Installed to joist in basement. Pre drilled but used tools included; was a bit rough. Definitely could've used a socket wrench to speed things up. Pull up bar works as it should. Comfortable grips. Im about 190lbs and it seems sturdy.

Had to drill new holes b/c they did not match up, but otherwise it works like it is suppose to. Good value
