Almost as good as the Hexclad
I bought the Hexclad 13 piece set and wanted another larger pan with similar coating. This pan fits the bill. The only thing I wished it had is the same coating on the bottom to prevent scratches and unsightly staining.

Wash before use, otherwise treat like any other pan.
There is oil you need to wash off before first use.Otherwise I treat it like any other pan, and everything has cooked as expected or better.IDK who these people posting "it failed the egg test"; treat them as people who cook once a year and move on past their reviews.Awesome saute/frying pan, cleans easy, a bit big in dishwasher, but is dishwasher safe.

Read the Instructions!
I am honestly convinced that most low reviews are because of user error. I purchased this pot and I made sure I read the instructions carefully. With that, this pan is amazing. I kind of bought the 3 QT to do a test run and I fell in love with it immediately. I just ordered the rest of the set and a 6QT skillet. If you want a Hexclad but can't afford it, try this brand, it works just as well.

Most even heat of any 12 inch skillet
I love these big 12 inch skillets for stirfry and pasta dishes. All you can ever find are the cheap non stick ones that are not $70 or $80. Here i am looking on Amazon for the zillionth time and here is a $30 off coupon on what looks to be an amazing pan. Got it, opened up ,seasoned and cooked my sausage and pasta dish...Wow the sausage cooked evenly in all of the pan. I have an electric stove so not often has this ever happened.... I love it! Clean up was easy! Even the sides of the pan were getting hot...That's how you know it's evenly cooking. Get It !

We love this pan! It’s large enough to cook an entire pack of chicken at once as well as veggies! It a really great pan and we’re very happy with it!
