For the money you might as well buy the curriculum
Not what as presented. I only received a 20 page pamphlet. Picture and description implies two pamphlets and a DVD.

I am so disappointed for the missing DVD
I place an order " The SERTS Model: Enhancing Communication and Socioemotional Abilities of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder" , this item includes one DVD and a small manual, which context same as DVD. I just received the manual, but not DVD. I really need this DVD. How can I get the DVD? I am so disappointed for the missing DVD.

Don't buy this book
This "brochure" costs $20 for a lousy 19 pages. The material it does have is just a sales pitch for the SCERTS method. Shameful.

Wish I had read the reviews before ordering
As other reviewers have noted this product is one book and no DVD. Extremely disappointed. Am in the process of sending back for a refund.

Interesting newly formatted programme for ASD
Although very American in presentation, the programme seems really sound and has been in use for ometime already, proving to be very effective. My interest was fired particularly by the emphasis put on working WITH the families of children with autism. Something we don't always do that well in Britain.

The picture and product description suggest that this comes with a DVD. I returned it twice: no DVD. Not worth the effort for what is basically a very expensive promotion, I gave up.

Spend your money on something else
While the SCERTS model is built on genuine research evidence and provides a useful toolkit on AS specific interventions and support, this booklet is little more than an advertising brochure for the very expensive manual and other materials and is a waste of money. There are far more useful ways to spend £17.50 and inform your work with students with autism.
