I’m cutting three of my daughters hair, my husband and my sons and I was in need of a good pair of thinning shears to make a look that wasn’t a blunt cut. These thinning shears are awesome, I included a picture example of my daughters hair before and after the cut. I use regular hair scissors for removing the length and straightening out and then I come back in with the thinning shears to create texture and allow for more depth to the cut. Slightly creating small layers. I do the same for my son and husband, I use a trimmer with various tips on the sides and then a finger cut for the top. I don’t like blunt looks on top, so I use scissors to take the length down and shears to create various levels to the hair. These are wonderful thinning shears with a professional salon quality.

I haven't actually USED the thinning shears yet but they LOOK like they'll work fine! The shipping was FAST & I appreciated that!

I just recently recieved these. They work really well for thinning and layering. Just one word of caution....be carefull of the flat blade. It's REALLY sharp as I accidently found out.

I was prepared to receive slightly sharp, mostly useful thinning shears. What I got was much more - the equal of my high-end thinning shears! They're extremely sharp, easy to hold & manage & easy to sharpen (for a thinning shear). Perhaps the only grief I have is that, while they divide the hair nicely, it's divided into slightly larger clumps than I'd prefer. Very happy buyer & recommend to anyone wanting a quality thinning shear.It's really cuts well and well made!

I highly recommend these sheers as they are way more forgiving than typical cutting scissors.These are great texturizing scissors! As a non-pro haircutter, I find them to be of great quality and easy to use! It’s really good for cutting my split ends every month. Better than having to go to a salon for a trim, saves me time and money! I’m so glad I purchased these.
