Great design, but made of cheap britle plastic.
This was bought for a public safety agency drone to be able to deploy a self inflating rescue device for drowning victims. There are very few drop device choices for all Autel drones and this seemed like the best kit. This system mounts very nicely over the two bottom rear lights and turning the light on from settings, and the Visual sub menu will release your payload. As soon as I received it I knew that this product would not last. It is made of very brittle plastic and the clasping mechanism to secure the system has a hook and pull back securing system. This device was attached to our Evo 2 Dual a total of 3 times before the brittle plastic on the hook broke at one end. We never actually got around to dropping a device, even in training. There is no way that this system would last for our intended use case, but if you place it on once and leave it on it may work for you.Overall I would give this 5 stars since the design is very well thought out but the whole system fails in the cheap brittle plastic clamping system. If this system was remade with either a more forgiving plastic, thicker ends in the clamping part or maybe even a rubber clamping system, this product would really shine. But as it is, I cannot see this system lasting more than at most a few dozen clamping and unclampings.Maybe a version 2 of this fixes the problem.

good design. bad material
This has a simple and effective design and an intuitive method to install. It works on evo ii pro and enterprise. It does not interfere with landing using the standered landing gear. The material leaves much to be desired; a silicon or abs material would do much better than the cheap acrylic. It has a button to open it manually and then closes either when the button is tapped again or after ~10 seconds. I got 10 or so uses out of it so far. I don't think it will last long, though. It feels like I will break it every time I install it. Since it uses the light, it's range is as far as the drone can be controlled, but this does make night use a bit less practical. Charging with a type c usb was a good call.
