Okay nevermind this is no good
The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because the holes are too small for the pins so I needed to make them bigger!Overall so far so good! Material seems to be Masonite and it’s the job it was meant to do!If anything changes I’ll be sure to update!UPDATE: been using them for like 2 weeks now and these are my notes-they warp but just flip the board over when you use them next and they even out-make sure they dry separately-need to put some sort of thin finish on themThey mold so easily!!! I think normal Masonite bats we use have some sort of finish on them because these feel completely raw! I think the light finish might help with the drying/molding also each board I’ve used roughly 3-4 times and it’s starting to scrapeOverall you get what you pay for but with a little tlc they do it’s jobOkay triple update:-okay I did everything in my power to make these work but they’re absolute crap!-after using them for the 3rd time the material starting scraping off

Needs modifications
The first problem I encounterd was that the holes drilled in the base that is supposed to fit on the wheel-head did not fit. (I have a Shimpo VLite wheel) They were too small and spaced wrong. I did a fix by re-drilling and partially filling the now slotted holes I created making it a snug fit. I used a plastic epoxy to fill in the hole gap. Then, during the first use, which was OK (throwing and removing pots from the bats worked fine) until the next day when I found the base disk badly warped. The insert bats were warped as well, but not as bad. I figured turning them over for the next uses would solve the problem (which it did and they did return to almost flat). However, the base can't have the same treatment since the well for the removables is only on one side. Since there was a second base bat, I decided to seal it with polyurethane. I did three coats. It worked like a charm. The base didn't absorb any water and was easy to clean and the removables all worked flipping them over. You can't seal the inserts bercause they need to be able to absorb water from the thrown pot to release). My advice: if you want this kit, be prepared to do some modification work. There are no instructions. I also was able to straighten the first base by rewetting and clamping to the wheel head. After making sure it was fully dry, I then sealed that one as well.

Avoid this junk! - holes are off, inserts not centered, MOLD GROWTH
I regret buying this set and anyone reading this should avoid it! Low-cost shouldn't mean poor craftsmanship AND bad design AND terrible quality.First, the holes on the base were off. Worse, the square cutout on the base where the inserts go is not centered relative to the base (the manufacturer apparently doesn't understand how this is meant to be used because they centered using the notch as part of the cutout dimensions ...).Rather than return for replacement (a replacement would likely be identical), I decided to fix those two problems by drilling new holes so the inserts would be centered on the wheel, even if the base was not). But then the WORST problem emerged: unlike Medex, the material in this system is not mold-resistant but rather it is a medium for mold growth. Every single new insert I've used has been covered in green mold within a week. I wiped clean the first three I used using a bleach cleaner ... The mold growth came back.Sadly, I missed the return window by a few days due to the time I took trying to fix the obvious problems.TL;DR: DO NOT BUY!

Like a lot
While the mounting holes did not match my Pacifica wheel it was easy to drill holes that fit my wheel.

Don't go Cheap
I should have read the reviews before purchasing. These are so cheap and it shows. The pin holes are too small for the bat to fit over. The wholes are misaligned to a standard american wheel head. Do not purchase this system. Spend the money on a bat system made by a reputable brand.

It doesn’t fit
The holes are not large enough for the bottom page to go over the back pins you have to re-drill everything for it to work not much quality control

Mold, mold, mold
I usually read all reviews before purchasing an item but I was in a hurry and just bought the first ones that popped up - huge mistake! Every piece that I've left on to dry turns moldy, along with the board. Gross and frustrating. Also, as someone else said, the warp very easily. Waste of money.

Cut out not centered
Shame about this set because I have another similar one that has worked perfectly. Unfortunately the cut out on the home bat where you insert the individual bats is off centre. You may argue that if you are a good, experienced thrower, you can centre anything anyway, but it can throw things out and it means you are restricted more with the size because one side of the pot is closer to the edge of the inserted at than the other so you run out of room. For this reason I wouldn't recommend.

Damaged product
1/2 the bat holders arrived broken. Such a shame as now I only have one holder. Let’s hope it doesn’t break or warp.
