fine
tl;dr -- not accurate or consistent, but will give you a close measurement // battery-less concept is niceI wanted an accurate, easy-to-use scale that I could travel with and not worry about battery replacement. I got an inconsistent, somewhat frustrating but somewhat useful scale to travel with and I don't have to worry about battery replacement.Basically, this thing will get you in the ballpark of the actual weight. I just measured the same bag three times in a row, and the weights came out to: 38lbs, 35lbs, and 36lbs. One pound can be the difference between the regular checked bag price and the oversized bag fee. These differences matter, so I've docked stars for the product's evident inaccuracy. All that being said, this tool is better than nothing. It's cheap, I don't have to change batteries, and even with the three different weights, I at least know that I have room for a few more things. If you do use this, just don't try to push your airline's max weight limit.

Easy to use and pretty accurate
I wasn't sure about this scale because it doesn't have great reviews on its accuracy. However, I took the scale to the lab where I work to use the scientifically calibrated weights to test it out. It was better than expected - it was never more than 0.5 kg off, and sometimes right on the mark. Good enough for something so easy and affordable (especially when you consider that you'll never have to buy replacement batteries) - and I love how small/portable it is. I recently used it for a 'big' move and weighed lots of luggage multiple times, many of which were at the airline limit (23kg). No problems with it's function or durability, and no luggage over limit. I'm very happy with this buy.

Hard to use
This scale was too difficult to use for someone who has trouble lifting a suitcase. We bought it for our daughter, who is short, so needs a scale that can record the weight, then keep it on the screen so that when you put the suitcase back down, the weight is recorded and can be read. Because of this, we returned it. If you are taller, and have no trouble lifting, it might work well for you, if you can read it while you have the suitcase suspended. One plus is that it does not require batteries.

No batteries
Love that it does not need batteries - so it's always ready. It seem to be consistently 2 pounds off. Every time my luggage weighs 2 pounds MORE at the airport. So Now I just plan for that.

had high hopes
I really wanted this to work well because it is so annoying being on vacation and trying to make sure ur suitcase meets the weight going home. But on first use, the clasp holder came out even with less then 5lbs. It seems to be a problem with the product design not just mine. Also it is annoying to have to shake it every use.

Best Travel Gadget
I travel frequently and sometimes bring heavy gifts back home or out to friends. No batteries or recharging required. Just shake it like a spray paint can and it works. Compared to my home scale it is right on target. Its small, lightweight size makes it easy to pack. I love it.

No batteries needed.
At first, it did not seem to turn on or measure, but just a few repeated attempts delivered success. No batteries needed, so they will not go bad while in storage. You can easily add the scale to the luggage to check weight along your trip. It is very easy to use. Thank you.
