Ok. We set it up three different days at the beach. We were ready to send it back on day one. There were no detailed instructions, but it’s easy enough to figure out. One person could do it, but two is better. Day two was better since we learned from our “mistakes” and day three, as shown in the photo was perfect. It’s huge, easy to put up and take down and so much lighter than past canopies we’ve used.Here’s our tips:1. Lay the canopy flat out in the location you want it. Stretch it out. Then fill the bags about half way or more with sand. Put up the two front poles, adjust the bags so they are even with the poles. Do the same with the other two poles.2. Go back and fill those sandbags to the tippy tops, stand them up a bit and adjust the bags so they sit up a bit and pull on the poles.3. Then relax.Very easy take down as well.Would recommend this canopy. We did opt for the 3 year insurance as well.

The first time we used it it was 50 mile an hour winds and didn’t really know the best process to set it up. Figured out that you need to spread all four corners out and fill them with sand and then prop the poles underneath and lift up and tie off the balls on the top of the Poles and it worked great and much easier set up process. And it was less windy the second time.

We’ve used a couple different types of tents for the beach but this was the best. The set up was easy and provided sun protection for our family of five and a couple other family members that came with us. It did not sway with the wind and was so much easier to store than our precious tent due to the size. Definitely the best value we have found.

We bought the 10x10 for our beach vacation and absolutely loved it. Took some rearranging of the poles and bags but worked well with lots of wind. Only complaint it was not waterproof. Can’t wait to use it for many years to come!!!

I’m not one to write reviews cause everyone has different views on thing. Was hoping to find something little cheaper for my daughter to use at the beach. Cheaper is not always better. We have a Shibumi as a family, but she goes to college on the coast. Thought it would be nice for her and her friends. Already missed the return window for this. First time using was an epic fail. Second time is not much better. And yes we adults tired using it before the daughter did. Definitely don’t bother using in the wind for starters. Definitely would not recommend.

I could not be happier with this sunshade. It took me a long time to decide on the shade I wanted, and this was a perfect choice. I ordered the 12 x 12. So far, I have only used it for shade over the pool, and it has worked out great. I set it up by myself in about 4 minutes. I may order another one to cover the entire pool and some of the patio.

Was skeptical to buy, but turned out to be amazing.We were able to spend hours at the beach, a Best Buy of the summer!

Very disappointed. I bought this for a beach trip to Cape Cod, MA. Easy to set up with 2 people. Followed the instructions for setup and overfilled the sandbags as instructed. The canopy did not stand up to the wind and would not remain stable. It was not a very windy day. However, every time a breeze came, the poles tilted and the canopy dipped down in the middle and hit us on top of our heads while sitting in our chairs. The material is too stretchy, which is why it caved in.The stitching on the sandbags also not very sturdy. Used it for one day. Not worth the money. I am returning.
