The only downsides to the product is the shipping takes a little while but it was delivered sooner than promised, and there are no installation instructions. If you've ever taken the scales off of a folding knife before you should be fine, just use your existing scales as a guide. This comes with everything you need. and keep in mind that you will not reuse a couple (2) factory screws. If you have more than that left over double check your work. Also keep in mind you will also also be installing (included) spacers which the factory plastic scales didn't use. The fit and finish is excellent with just the right amount of heft and are very solid, just what the Griptilian knife needs to be as good as it can be. Once you replace the cheap hollow OEM plastic scales you'll wonder why you waited so long.
