Ultralight Backpacking Trowel, 0.48 oz (13.5g)

Really very light at around 13g and just as strong as the one it will replace which is a Sea To Summit one which is 87g. All those grams add up on the trail. With 95 miles to walk in a week, I need to save weight wherever possible and this is a great addition to my kit. I saw this trowel on a video by YouTuber Kris Gleave. He wrapped the handle in duct tape to make it more comfortable to hold - backpackers should carry a small amount of duct tape for repairs etc, so this should not be considered an unnecessary weight gain. Anyway, you could use comfortably without adding tape, but the handle edges are angular (not sharp, just angular).

Super light weight and the little plastic bit makes all the difference when your digging so it doesn’t hurt your hands as much as other options. Only used it twice but it’s worked well so far.

Very impressed! Cheaper & lighter than the Deuce of Spades trowel. The end cap to protect your hand looks like an excellent additional feature. And supported with a lifetime warranty. Highly recommended!

Really nicely designed! Digs well and is super light and compact. So far the trowel feels robust, however the material is a lightweight aluminium rather than titanium, and the plastic end cap is 3D printed rather than an injection moulding. I’ll wait for some prolonged use and harder ground, but so far it doesn’t affect the performance of the product. The material choices don’t bother me if it functions as it should, I think we all appreciate a design that doesn’t use more expensive manufacturing processes if it’s not required.

By far the best backpacking trowel that I've used - strong, comfortable and unbelievably lightweight at only 14 grams. Look no further!

All looks good. Very lightweight so need to not push it too hard on hard ground, but should perform in normal soil, soft clay etc. I'm pleased.

I was weirdly excited to be able to finally own a BoglerCo trowel - to have an original top-of-the-line product and not to be constantly looking for something better. It was a bit of a luxury purchase, but I have no regrets and it'll replace a larger cumbersome plastic trowel that can't handle most hard soils. It is so incredibly lightweight that it'll be an easy choice to take whenever I hike. Can't get over how light this is. Appears very strong. Plastic cap at the top looks like it will make digging a lot more comfortable than many others on the market. Compact size, with the option of easily attaching a stick handle if necessary. Item arrived in less than 24 hours too. Great product.
