The advertisements on Facebook for another brand that starts with a "V" lead me to amazon where I found this much cheaper, nearly identical quality magnetic gun mount. It fits a wide variety of handguns and the magnetic is very strong. I have used other magnet mounts in my truck before but never felt confident in their ability to maintain a hold on the weapon if I were to get into an accident. I have no worries of my sidearm becoming a loose projectile in my cab should the worse happen in my truck. Racking a round is as easy and fluid as you can imagine and really doesn't add any more time to drawing the weapon. One note, be sure to check placement WITH your handgun before you mount it. I did my best guess and ended up placing it where my knee would hit the baseplate of my mag and now my dash has some additional ventilation as I needed to move it up a bit.

Bought the 2 pack. Like it for most of my guns, but it's nearly impossible to rack a round on the G2c while in this mount. The magnet is too strong. Works fine for my other pistols

The product works very well I have extremely rough railroad tracks near my house my firearm stays exactly where I put it. The only issue I do have is the fact that it comes down so perfectly straight and I'm right handed the firearm gets in the way of my knee while driving. However with the strength of a magnet unable to angle my firearm give me that i'm able to tilt it in the holder and clear up space. This is simply done by just using my knee and pushing the pistol grip to the right it stays there no problem and I can drive comfortable. However I did install one in my buddy Dodge Ram he did not have this problem

I bought this to hold one of my Glocks to the dash; I screwed it into place and viola - it does the job. I travel a lot of dirt roads, and it hasn't bumped out of the mount yet.

Very well made and strong magnet. Unfortunately, I returned because I couldn't find a location to mount where it was easily accessible and the handgun wasn't hitting my knees

The magnet holds onto the top of the barrel making it very hard to rack. If this thing is not fastened to steel I don’t think it would work very well, you would probably rip it off the wall.
