Fantastic quality headphones, best pair I've ever owned for the xbox series X. Although to get the most out of them you'll need dolby atmos for headphones as it really boosts the max output volume and really enchances the sound...DO NOT USE DTS X it sounds so bad even worse than default Xbox stereo uncompressed it's Awful. - super comfy even after hours of use no pains or strains even on my fairly large head. -Nice braided cable that doesn't catch on clothes, the metal frame is a big bonus and build quality is fantastic. -Great volume control wheel super precise and tactile. -Best sounding headphones for xbox series X without an amplifier. Very happy with this purchase

Sounds worse than its predecessor out of the box in my opinion, but works fine after playing with my EQ. Active noise cancelling built into the mic is fantastic. Doesn’t cause discomfort whilst wearing glasses. Higher build quality than Logitech and Corsair products of similar price that I have owned.

Coming from a previous Cloud 2 Kingston and Cloud 2 HP, I had to buy these as the Cloud 2s had nearly doubled in price in the span of a month. The sound is flat, and it’s definitely not the ideal choice for someone who wants a good pair of multipurpose headset. However, flat sound is better for gaming, which is one of my main purposes of buying these. I think the Cloud 2s are a better medium while also offering more comfort. I am a glasses wearer as well, and I find that this headset sits weird on my head with them. It’s squishing my glasses and moving them, it’s quite annoying. Still, it’s manageable. If I could choose between Cloud 2 (wired) and Cloud 3 (wired), I’d choose Cloud 2 - even the HP version. It just offers better comfort and I just think the bass gives the headphones that extra oomph, you know? The 3s aren’t bad though, I will still use them and the black design is miles ahead of the red Cloud 2s. Another thing that made me pick 3s were the fact that Cloud 2s suddenly doubled in price, and these came in cheaper. If you are buying the Cloud 2s, do for the love of god not splurge £80 on them, they normally sell for around £50.

Come with a short 3.5mm cable but thankfully the 3.5mm to usb cable is just as long again. So in total is long enough. The mic and headphones quality is great and the being able to remove the microphone is always handy.

This headset is value for money, especially at the price of £69 instead of the £110 RRP. Even HyperX website sell them for more right now. The fit is great even with glasses on. The sound quality is better than my old gaming headset and the build quality is great too. I use this headset to play Call of Duty Warzone for my YouTube channel Warzone Tom and hear the enemies footsteps easier now. I would recommend this headset.

Good headphones helps with spacial audio awareness a ton while gaming and for such a good price too

These were great to start off with. The sound is excellent, the mic works well and they fit comfortably, even for someone with a large head like me. USB connectivity is plug and play in both Windows 10 and 11. Companion software isn't great, but you don't need it unless you want to use their Dolby DTS emulation, which sounds worse than straight up stereo in all cases I've tried. Unfortunately the build quality is not the best. Just over two years since purchase the plastic on the ends of the cushioned headband has cracked on both sides. So far only the outside layer, so structural integrity remains, though this was also a weakness of the Cloud IIs so I expect it will fully crack in time. I did try reinforcing them with zip ties after the Cloud II owner experience, but that didn't seem to help much. The leatherette on the headband is also peeling already. For £80 worth of headset, I would expect better build quality. Even my Cloud IIs lasted longer than this before they started falling apart! My advice would be to pick up a nice pair of AKG headphones and an external mic, rather than get a set of these.

Overall great quality very comfortable and sound amazing. Great value for money.The weight is just right . Mic it self great.

Ich hatte bereits alle Arten von Headsets die es auf dem Markt gibt. Ich habe alles ausprobiert, In Ear, Mit Bügel, kabellos, teuer, billig, noch billiger, richtig teuer usw. Unterm Strich ist das HyperX einfach des beste. Beste Tonqualität zum zocken, man hört nochmal besser wo die Gegner sind usw. in CS2. Die Robustheit gibt nochmal einen extra Punkt, der Bass ist satt, die Höhen und mitlleren Töne perfekt. Das Mikrofon ist akzeptabel bis gut. Ob das abnehmbar ist oder nicht juckt mich eigentlich nicht. Man sieht anhand einer roten Leuchte direkt am Mokrofon ob es gemutet wurde. Der Tragekomfort ist ebenfalls gigantisch gut, man spürt das Headset kaum und schwitzt auch nicht so sehr darunter. Es ist angenehm leicht, aber die Qualität ist trotzdem merklich gut. Für knappe 70 Euro ein echter Knaller! Hatte gerade ein Headset von Teufel, weil ich dachte die Firma weiß was sie macht, wurde aber so enttäuscht, dass ich es zurückgeschickt habe. Die Tonqualität war miserabel! Das ist ein Unterschied das kann ich hier gar nicht beschreiben! Das Hyper X ist einfach besser. Und selbst im Vergleich zum 3 mal so teuren Sony Wh... macht das HyperX eine bessere Figur in jeder Hinsicht und die Qualität der Töne beim zocken ist besser, was noch wichtiger ist, es lässt sich hiermit viel besser lokalisieren woher die Geräusche kommen. Wer ein perfekt ausgewogenes Headset mit gutem Bass und perfektem Ton beim zocken sucht, nicht nachdenken. Einfach ausprobieren. Ich muss noch erwähnen, dass ich dieses Headset normal gekauft haben und es nichts mit meiner Tätigkeit als Produtktester zu tun hat (schade eigentlich). Aber das HyperX muss niemand mehr testen, das ist einfach gut!

These headphones continue the HyperX loud legacy and even improve on the brand. I've had every iteration since the original and these are the best. They are very light weight and comfortable and suitable for both gaming and business use. The sound is excellent, clear well defined treble and mids with a nice deep bass without becoming muddle. The sound stage and imaging is very good for closed back headphones. The microphone is also very good and I have no issue using these for business calls. The head band has more adjustability since the first models so they fit larger heads much better. They also got rid of the screws that were on the Cloud II's where the headband meets the metal earcup bracket which would fail in the past so they should hold up better. At this price, or even more, I would get these without a second thought.
