I don't know why others are saying these look cheap or hard to assemble. They go together in 3 minutes, the color is vivid as expected, sturdy once assembled, shipped well! Yes, if you turn shade around you will see the seam and the edge shows white velcro to hold its circular shape, but who twists and turns a shade? The edge is clean and neat. I have had messy seams on the back of traditional shades. AND these are $15 each! You can't get that at retail. Lamp shades are expensive. One point to make - someone described the texture as linen. It does NOT look like linen it is more of a velvety texture / velour (for those who remember the 1970s) but nice not cheap. I love them and appreciate the price. Full instruction booklet came with mine and well packaged for shipping. Unless the carton had been smashed this arrives in perfect condition.

Update: I contacted Amazon customer service who processed a return and replacement. I received the new shades the next day. They require assembly, but look wonderful. I am very pleased with how they look. The fabric is not too thick so that light shows through nicely. My living room is much brighter with these shades. For the price they are worth it. I do recommend them.I received my lamp shades today, only I can only use one as there are 3 bottom frames and only one top frame. Kind of difficult to use a lampshade that has nothing to attach to the lamp. While I wasn’t expecting to have to assemble them myself, I would have accepted that had I been able to use them right by away. Very frustrating that the package was not put together with care.

These look great! Definitely a medium size and a tad small for the large, chunky lamps we used them on.

Beautiful shades I am very happy with the look . I bought the bases at a thrift store and these shades make the lamp look high end. Very easy assemble love the linen look.

I’m giving this a 5 star bc 1) well made 2) easiest item I have ever had to put together!! Unfortunately the metal rings were white and my harp and finial brown so it didn’t look right so I had to return it Gold color would have been better. My compliment on whoever thought up this design!!!

I like the look of these shades.However, I expected a seamless shade and a bit bigger. It wasn’t quite what I had in mind.

The items were pretty easy to assemble, and are a great update to my lamps. They give off a nice light without being to see the bulb through the shade. I would have given five stars, but the soldering on one of the frames broke while assembling. It was easily replaced.
