Exactly what I needed!
Super easy to install and iy has worked flawlessly for almost a year now. Charges my Ford C-Max Energi much quicker than the Level 1 charger it was supplied with.Inexpensive compared to other Level 2 options which was great. Kinda wish it had some sort of remote monitoring built in but you can't beat it for the money!

It uses electricty - and WORKS WELL
I have been using this easy to install unit ( we had a 220 plug added to our home) and plug and play. Car charges reliably with this inexpensive unit. Looks great too. Comes with RFID tags if you want to keep it on lock. Ours is in the garage- let me know if you need to borrow it-

Simple home charger
My dad installed this for me in my garage for my new car last week. It works exactly as expected. We did have to run the wiring, I am lucky he is an electrician because it would have been so expensive to hire out. It requires a 50 amp breaker and we ran 6 gauge wiring (which as of now is over $4 per foot, so be prepared for that cost). I like that it doesn’t require any WiFi or an app, my vehicle has an app to set up the charging times and I don’t need the redundancy of another app. Simple, and to the point. It feels of good quality and the charging cable is heavy duty without being overly cumbersome to move around. It does have cards to access it if you install it outdoors, but I have no need for them.

Decent basic 40 amp charger, great price, nice heavy cable
Got this yesterday to charge my Lyriq. You need to mount it pretty much right above your Nema 14-50 outlet. Installation was simple, bracket on wall with 4 screws, unit slides onto bracket and set screw secures it. The cords are nice and thick but flexible. Has a nice heavy cast aluminum cord holder separate from the charger, so you put it wherever you want. There are no settings to reduce the power, so it's just 40 amp. I got about 25 miles added per hour. Can't beat the price, almost half of the big names. I don't need the RFID feature because it's in my garage, but nice to have if you're going to use it for a public setting.
