Not easy to use and not accurate nor effective
This product is not easy to use. The instructions are not useful and the workflow to use this device is longer than it should be. It cannot consistently find studs in the wall. Quality of the product is poor and unintuitive. I have two other studfinders that work well for less money. I needed a finder for my vacation property and found this to be useless. I would have returned it, but the 30 day window closed. So now I am stuck with it. I will order one of a similar brand to my others to replace this purchase. Bad judgement on my part to not try it out the day I received it against my proven devices. Folks - my advice is to double check these generic products soon as they arrive. Get them back to Amazon right away if not satisfied. Definitely do not buy this item or any side brand that looks similar to this item.
