These amla capsules are excellent. There are only 2 ingredients: organic amla, and vegetable cellulose to make the capsule. Each 2 capsule serving provides 1500mg amla powder, which is an excellent dose, and enough to get the health benefits of amla.Amla is well studied and has shown a lot of promise for lowering cholesterol, blood sugar levels, and reducing inflammation measures like CRP. It's one of my favorite herbs to take regularly to promote metabolic health, and these capsules are super convenient.Overall - this is an excellent amla supplement. It's just a good dose (1500mg) of USDA organic amla in every 2 capsule serving, and nothing else. You really can't beat this for the most convenient way to take amla. That being said, amla powder on it's own tastes pretty good, and the most cost effective way to take amla is to buy a big bag of powder and take 2g every morning mixed with warm water. Whatever your preference, this is a great product and would highly recommend it.

This capsule form is a very convenient way to take Amla supplement without needing to add sugar to make it palatable. Amla is one of those super foods that provides a lot of natural Vitamin C and is excellent support for the heart, brain and immune system. It also helps to control blood sugar and is an excellent source of natural antioxidants. There are 120 capsules in the bottle, and the recommended serving size is two tablets per day. This is a great product that is very easy to use.

I'm taking the manufacturer's word for it that these capsules contain 100% organic raw amla fruit powder. I need more raw superfoods in my life! I've not felt any different since taking these, but I've experienced no ill effects and I trust that the antioxidants are doing their thing.

I read that amla is a very healthy food and I ordered these capsules because it is easier for me to get the benefits in this way than to eat the bitter fruit. Also, the capsules are easy to swallow and I get 1500mg of Amla fruit a natural vitamin C and antioxidants.

I included amla powder in my supplement regimen, last year, to manage (lower) my cholesterol levels. While I can't attribute the lowering of the blood cholesterol level at my follow-up testing solely due to amla, I do feel it was a contributor. Oddly, the Supplement Facts gives data per 2 capsules. The directions note taking one capsule, two times a day; So, the serving size is actually one capsule.While the Supplement Facts indicates that it's organic, there is no certification for organic on the product label. On the topic of certifications and product label, the product details states: "We only manufacture our amla capsules in a facility that is GMP certified ensuring that every capsule is pure, potent and of great quality and free of contaminants." Again, there is no GMP certification badge on the product label. The assertion of these aspects, and the conspicuous absence of these certifications negatively impacts the rating.I have high regard for the possible health benefits of amla, and feel it helps improve and maintain blood cholesterol levels. If this supplement provided the mentioned certifications, I could heartily recommend it. Based on these aspects, this amla fruit supplement receives a 3.75 - 4 star rating.

I was looking forward to trying this product as I have read good things about the possible benefits Amla. After a review of the company, I have decided to not try Amla from this company. First, their website shows as suspended. Second, they do state that the product is organic and purity tested but they do not claim to have an organic certificate nor do they note they have a GMP certificate or who did their third-party testing. There is also a USDA report of the company using a fraudulent organic certificate from 2015. There are some additional issues with different labeling on their various products and differing company names and locations.Should Organic Aura International proved some updated information about the above issues I would then be happy to give the product a try. Until then, I will look for another Amla product that I have confidence in trying.

Amla is packed with Vitamin C and reported to be a great anti-oxidant. I buy the powder and typically add it in smoothies, but it has to be taken a little at a time, e.g.1/2 teaspoon due to its very tart flavor. It is ok in a smoothie with yogurt, stevia, blueberry, and some soy milk or almond milk, but now that I've found it in capsule form I can skip the smoothie and just take the capsule. The jar I got has the manufacture date and the expiration date on it, which I appreciate. It was made in April 2023, so it is quite fresh.
