SkullduggeryEyewitness Kit Dinoworks Triceratops Skeleton Casting Kit

We had a lot of fun learning about fossils and the bones of a triceratops. The paint colors were a little tame, so we pulled out the neon paint and really made a unique creation. There is plenty of extra casting material, so if you break a piece or would like an extra head, you'll have enough. I think the length of the project would make it most appropriate for older children who have a bit of patience.

My 7 year old enjoyed this. She needed a little help from mom, but she handled a good bit on her own and really had fun with it. Kit came with a small booklet on the dinosaur which was very informative. The only thing I wish we could have figured out, was out to paint the fossil more of a "bone" color. Paint does come with the kit...but only white and brown (also a stain which we applied after the brown...maybe if we had tried just the stain??). Overall, great purchase. I would definitely buy from this manufacture again.

This item is missing leading. I thought it would be more detailed. It was more like a shape of the dinosaur. Disappointed in how they looked when done.

The box and images suggest that this toy is a free standing model, but it is a cheap plastic mold that is about 1/2 cm deep.

If this has been marketed as a cast you pour, paint, then glue/magnet together like a flat dinosaur puzzle, that’s one thing. But the picture on the box makes it look like you’re going to build a 3D skeleton. My 5 year old had fun painting it, and I went to town with a glue gun (forget the included stuff), but it wasn’t what we thought we were getting.

I purchased this casting kit for my son for his birthday and he absolutely loved it. And it was very easy for him to do and not messy at all. The entire product is just a few simple steps to getting the casts ready for painting which he loved. The kit comes with a magnet strip to glue to the back of the finished dinosaur to be put on the fridge or wherever a magnet will stick to. I'm going to buy him more of these kits for Christmas.

Ordered this product to use for my son's 6th birthday party. We are going to have each kid dig up a set of bones at the party. So far the product has been fun to do with my 5 soon to be 6 year old. The molds actually turned out very nice and when done looked much better then I expected.

My grandchild loved this piece. He is five and required slight assistance with the casting. We painted the piece together Great fun!
