Best backpack, ever!
I’m a 63 year old who loves the outdoors and wanted the best, multi-day/weekend, highly functional and durable backpack within reasonable cost. I’m not doing thru-hikes so a heavier but durable pack was my goal. 2021 brought the new Aether 65 vs the older Atmos 65, both of which were my leading candidates. I settled on the older Atmos 65 because of the very positive YouTube reviews and the fantastic price just recently posted on Amazon in February, 2021....$239.00 brand new! My Atmos came today and to my surprise, it DID come with an included rainfly! Note that rain fly’s do not normally come with the Atmoses? The medium is a 65 liter pack weighing in at 4.56 lbs, so it’s no ultralight. But here’s why I settled on the Atmos 65: 1. Anti-Gravity suspension/harness system - makes it feel like you’re carrying less weight than you actually are. 2. Durable & Flawless construction - heavy duty quality zippers, durable outer material, and overall build (like a tank!) 3. Great pockets & just the right amount of storage - 2 external storage pockets on the front of the pack is a winner! Also, trekking pole and dual ice axe lashings. 4. Dual side pockets are large/deep enough to fit a full-sized, Grayl water filter flask. 5. Removable brain and integral weather flap. 6. Included rain fly & dedicated rain fly pocket. - You can also use this pocket for other item storage while stashing the rain fly somewhere else if you wish. 7. The high vis, neon green interior provides great contrast when looking for items in low-light conditions. 8. Osprey’s Almighty guarantee, lifetime warranty - 2nd to none! Conclusion: Although an older design, it is a proven pack with hundreds of satisfied users. It is a highly durable pack which will no doubt, stand the test of time. This is the best multi-day backpack, ever, imho!

The way to go when it comes to Packs.
Let me start off that I am a very experienced backpacker. Ive used many different bags over the years but this one is one of the best. Osprey has built a Legacy on customer support and building good value, durable packs. weighs around 4.5lbs but its a workhorse. I recently completed a 22 mile over night hike with it and it is by far one the more comfortable bags I've used. The Hip belt takes a little adjusting to get it right at first but once you get it its gold. The Anti Gravity suspension is great because it keeps the bag centered but off your back allowing air to get in. No more swamp back. I have their Stratos 34l as well and its just as good. Do yourself a favor and get a good bag, your back will thank you on the Trails.

Best Pack Period!
If your thinking about it, Don't think just buy it. This is THE Pack for everything, and it does it all extremely well. It is beyond comfortable, form fitting and can carry everything you would possibly need. Ive had this pack for a little over 3 years and have had Zero issues with it. Highly recommenced! Get them before they are gone, Osprey has discontinued this model for some unknown/Stupid reason. Why you discontinue your best product is beyond me. Bring it back, and with more color/custom options! Id buy three just on principle.

Best backpack I've ever owned
I use this backpack almost every weekend for many miles of hiking and climbing approaches. It can easily fit multiple climbing ropes, all my gear, food, water, and supplies. The many pockets make it easy to get some organization going and easily pull out specific things later on. The straps are the best in the business, and make a 60 lb load a lot more bearable. It has taken some minor external rips on the outside which I fixed with duct tape. Everything else like straps and zippers have virtually no damage even after scraping against countless rocks and trees. Given the amount of punishment this backpack has endured, I'm pretty sure I can expect at least 5-10 years of solid use.

Amazing pack! Quality product!
My boyfriend LOVES this pack! He tried a few other competitor brands but this one fits best and looks good to top it off. He says the best part is the back of the pack never actually touches your back because of the netted support system. Great because he sweats a lot! Just make sure you buy the correct size! Osprey has a great size chart that you can use and with a little help from a friend and a tape measure, you can determine your ideal pack size for your height/waist. He is 5’10 150lb and the medium is perfect.

Ooh, I love my new backpack
Great comfortable, light pack. The anti-gravity suspension system works and breathes well. Occasional squeaking but nothing particularly noteworthy. Abundant space to overpack, so I need to check myself with a scale. Love the fact the top is detachable, but do consider if opting to leave it at home that the pack’s folded-up rain cover lives there. This pack travels as well as you pack it. The first trip I took felt awful because I had the weight distributed all wrong-- heavy stuff (tent) hanging off the bottom, stuff strapped to the outside, and 1.5L nalgenes stuffed into the side pockets. After shedding an unnecessary 15 lbs and redistributing the load, my joy factor doubled. WARNING: I have a 33/34" waist. The belt is actually TOO BIG for me on the Large sized pack. I'm going to need to gain some weight, lolz, or find a way to buffer my hips. Two days into a backpacking trip, and the Atmos AG 65 was slipping down my backside. Really think things through carefully if you're on the M / L sizing boundary. Caveat: Last backpack I purchased was an early 1980's Jansport external frame model... when I was a pre-teen.

Almost perfect!
Just returned from a 60 mile, back country Montana trip. Bag was fantastic, comfortable, and breathable. Many adjustments to fine tune fitting. Great storage and organization. Only complaint (which is very common) is the zipper situation, especially on the hip pockets. They are nearly impossible to open and close with one hand, which is frustrating considering these pockets are designed to be accessed with one hand on the go. Other than that, the bag is awesome!

The great thing about Amazon.in is that we are now easily getting imported products which are universally acclaimed at the same foreign price converted to Indian currency. After a lot of googling I zeroed in on Osprey Atmos 65 which had great reviews. I am yet to put in stuffs and wear it, but the product is genuine and worth the money. It has a fluoroscent green rain cover. The fabric is excellent and so are straps. It's made in Vietnam.

Difficult to believe that a backpack can be comfortable but this one is, much more so than other packs due to the way the hip belt literally grabs you and takes the weight directly to the legs. Only a few days walks so far but the difference is amazing. Hopefully it will see me along the Pennine Way. Now back from the Pennine Way and I can really recommend this backpack. I had to spend a little time getting the perfect fit for my back, it is a matter of adjusting and readjusting, but when I found it, I could tell immediately. The included raincover worked very well. Nothing got wet inside, although I did use a liner bag just in case. The way the bag is held allowed air to pass along the back and as long as I was not wearing waterproofs I did not have a sweaty back. It is a big bag and managed to take all the kit including a tent inside the bag. When the tent was wet I used the ties as the bottom of the bag. I carried 28lbs, in comfort the whole way. Actually, the bag was maybe too large and I could have used a smaller one but I cannot fault it any way.
