FInally getting around to writing this review after a year of using this great product. Super easy to assemble and use DEFINITELY recommend over the ones that have built in hot element. it may be easier to store the two-in -one electric hot pots but its a hazard and doesnt last as long as this one does. There is a slight smell the first few times using it. and DONT spill food on the burner or to the side or under it. it is very hard to clean the burner element and food that seeps down there will burn and smell. the included pot is versatile and GREAT for nonstick. I've even used it on other stoves and it works great. HIGHLY recommend this item. Just take care of it and dont let the burner get dirty !!

Perfect for the purpose. This is a nice little pot. So far, so good on functions. I don't recommend trying to cook rice in it. The base heat isn't that well-distributed. Sometimes I wish I had the one with the dial rather than the digital display, but other than that I'm pleased. Using non-metal tools and it looks like the lining is holding up well. The base also fits a 1.4L stainless steel pot of mine very well.

I purchased a second one because the first one stopped working and the second one stopped working after 3 months. I would not risk buying it.

We got this pot thinking we could use it to make fondue or hot pot. Unfortunately we have not gotten around to making either of those. However, this pot kicks butt at making ramen and heating up soup. This pot would be a great item to have in a dorm or small kitchen since it has it's own source of heat. While this isn't a pot we would use all the time in our house, it definitely has it's purpose and will be great when we finally get around to making fondue and/or hot pot. :)

It’s not to small nor to big. It’s very cute, super easy to clean, and heats up really quick too. Also it’s none stick. I got it for work and everyone loves it also the little wood board and wood spatula are adorable ☺️

for some reason my pot is starting to burn, i’ll attach pictures. it creates a terrible smell of burning plastic and other chemicals.

I can hear the breaker keep clicking on or off during usage, preventing it from heating water at the fastest pace. This is particularly a headache when I want to keep the water boiling for a certain time. I know this is a safety feature, but the breaker tolerance should be loosened up just a little bit.It produced some bad odor when heating, but all mica heaters do this when new so that's not a big deal. Other than the fuse issue I'm satisfied with what I got.

I bought this in October and today when I was trying to turn it off the dial/switch to turn it off wouldn't move. I had to unplug it to get it to turn off. Also the coating came off pretty quickly and easily. Like I said it was fine/good while it still worked just sad that it didn't even last 6 months or not even regular use :/

I think this is a fantastic product if you live in a dorm room or a small apartment. But just so you know it doesn’t come with a plug so you’ll have to get one.
