My husband tried this on. He's short (under 5'3 now) so we expected this to hang long. But the hem on this is so long it borders on being a just about the knee dress. Otherwise, we like most everything else about this chef coat. The breathable fabric makes the coat more comfortable to wear in hot weather or steamy kitchens. The raglan style sleeves and front design are stylish, although the underarm area of the sleeves seems to have bit too much fabric. Taller, bulkier folks may not mind that.

I ordered this chef's jacket from Chef Works even though I'm not a "real" chef because I'm tired of ruining expensive t-shirts due to splattering oil and other spills that happen while cooking meals for the family. I know, it could be just as easy to wear a simple white Hanes t-shirt but there's no fun in that. When I put this chef's jacket on, the family knows to stay out of the kitchen til meals are served. Putting the jacket on also helps me get focused and let the other distractions of the day slip away. It's time to cook!The jacket is really comfortable. It's possible a bit larger than I expected, and I thought the size I ordered might be a bit tight. Definitely not! I'm swimming in the jacket, but that might be intentional so that chefs in professional kitchens have free range of movement around the various ovens, ranges, etc. I definitely had plenty of room to move my shoulders, arms, and torso. There was no restrictions in movement.The jacket is made from recycled plastic bottles, and you can toss it into the washing machine on hot. I've got a hook in the pantry where I hang the jacket and look forward to. using it frequently. Bring on the 4th of July neighborhood cookout. I may have to get a few of the other dads on the block to carry out some sort of cookout competition for the fun of the neighbors.This is a great purchase! Five stars!

Collar too wide looks and feel ridiculous

I am very pleasantly pleased and a little surprised that a coat at this price would be so well made and with fabric of this weight. The different fabric panels give it a high tech look and lend to a nice trim fit. The size medium is spot on and looks really good. So far, through two cleanings, it comes back looking good as new with no staines. Really like this one and will likely order a few more.

This chef coat arrives nicely folded up in a plastic bag and that's about it. The coat itself is very nicely made and feels different than other materials but it even has a tag in it that says it was made from recycled plastic bottles which is pretty cool but explains the different feel of the material.It's a comfortable coat with mesh on the upper back for some ventilation but definitely fits a little large.Overall, it's a well made and comfortable coat that has some ventilation but fits a little large and does feel hot due to the different materials.
