No more buyer's remorse!
I have been coveting these sandals for a really long time. Like a REALLY. LONG. TIME. But I really couldn't pull the trigger because I thought they were a little pricey. BUT, after a few years of taking too long to decide, then not having my size available, I finally bought them this season. I'm so glad that I did. These sandals are so so so comfortable. All the straps are adjustable and they're all padded, so nothing rubs against your skin. The foot bed is sculpted and molded and is super supportive. The foot bed itself is also padded. I've worn these sandals 4-5 times a week all summer long, and I've never strapped them on without marveling at how comfortable they are. And after wearing them all summer, I really can't detect any signs of wear. I can tell that these sandals are going to last for years. So, yes, they're pricey. And that's the only con that I can list. On the pro side, these sandals are pretty. The colors are perfect for summer and match about everything. They're adjustable, so they fit all different widths of foot. They're padded, so the sandals feel like you're wearing a slipper. And the sandals are supportive, so you can wear them all day. And they're high quality - they're going to last for a long time and bring joy to your feet for years. And really, since they're going to last such a long time, the sandals will end up extremely affordable in the long run.

Great fit!
These sandals are amazing. So glad to find them in a size 4.5. That is rare. They fit well, have three adjustable straps, a sturdy sole, and are very comfortable to wear and to walk in. Highly recommend!

My Go-To Sandals
After wearing my previous ECCO sandals for 15+ YEARS, it was time for a new pair!!! I would buy these sandals at just about any price because of their comfort and durability. I've worn them hiking, biking, to the beach, walking...you name it. I have other sandals in my closet but these are my go-to sandals for overall comfort. I was just as thrilled to see my new ones and I was with my previous pair. The color (Atmosphere/Black is a perfect match for just about everything and the size is true to fit. These sandals are definitely a staple in my closet....just hoping that these will hold up to another 15 years!..lol

Really Nice Sandal, Not Quite Right for My Feet
I have really bad arches but don't always want to take the time to haul on arch compression socks and lace up walking shoes, especially on hot days. I also chafe and blister very easily. The reviews on these suggested they would do the trick. And they almost do, and probably work great for many feet, just not quite mine. Pro: Sturdy, non-slip, nicely padded, my feet don't slide around in them. The colors are lovely and true to the photo. They shipped very quickly and arrived in good condition despite not being over packaged (just some thin stiffeners in the straps, sandals in a cardboard shoe box in a paper shipping bag). Con: Biggest con is that the arch support is a bit too far back. Also the heel strap has no adjusting room. If I want to get the velcro pieces to grab each other, I have to pull tight until there is a sort of click. This probably helps with the no sliding around, but there's something a little rough feeling inside that strap that chafes and scratches. The mid and toe straps are fine. The toe grip bump is slightly too far forward. Now, I am a size 9.5-10, but based on the sizing chart I went with the 9-9.5, and it could be that it is just a touch too small. My foot fits entirely on the pad, no spillover, but it's fairly close. Maybe a size bigger would get the arch support properly under the painful part of my arch. I test-wore them to the grocery store and was having some issues by the end of the shopping, mostly because of the arch. Though when I had to dash back to grab a forgotten item while my husband was checking out, I got a pretty good stride going. Also when I put them on the back of my thighs were in pain from earlier chores that involved stooping over to scrub things and while I wore the sandals that pain was simply gone. So I haven't given up on them yet, maybe the sole will break in to my foot contours eventually, but they are going to be for short walks to the mailbox and mostly-sitting visits with family unless they stop hurting my arch.

My feet love these shoes!!!
The insole fits my feet very well providing the arch support that my flat feet need. The receptor technology insole is marvelous. I am sure many of you will think I am exaggerating, but I am not. My feet have been unhappy for most of my life despite trying both prescription and other types of arch supports and of wearing tie shoes with low heels most of the time. Who would ever have believed that a well designed sandal would work the best. No more klutzy ugly oxfords for me!.. I keep ordering these shoes over and over again ever since I found them in the first place a few years ago. I wear them for everything: every day, dress up, 5-6 mile hikes around town and on steep trails. I even wear them in the lake when I am walking on stoney gravel. The only place I have found them to be inadequate is on terrain with that is covered with rocks that are unstable or where any sane person would be wearing a trail shoe or hiking boot. I have even worn them in the sand dunes. The sole prevents slippage on anything other than a super slick substrate such as a puddle on the floor or silty wet clay mud. There is even an all black version that I found recently which looks great with black stockings and black pants for dressy occasions. For casual wear, I love having a choice of colors. Blue to wear with jeans, red for fun, brown for most occasions, etc. I would prefer that the sole be all black, but that is not always an option. The velcro is perfect for fine tuning adjustments and for easing the tightness when my feet swell if I am sitting too long at a concert or something. What a life changer it is to have happy feet! I don't even have plantar fasciitis any more.

Not a hiking shoe this is a sidewalk walking shoe but it's a good shoe otder your normal size.
Hi it took me awhile to figure out what size would work for me. I ordered a 7.5 and I thought that was great but then I started to wear them and that he'll was just a little too close and started to push into the back of my heel because the back of the heel of the shoe Rises up a bit you should know that it's not flat. So I return them and I got eight which are just a smidge large but don't feel loose on my foot and I walked in them today and they were great. The footbed is not a soft cloth or microfiber footbed and when you walk in 80 90 degree heat 4 maybe 5 plus miles I can get a little well I would call it sticky or not exactly comfy but nothing that hurt. The rest of the shoe felt really good while walking. There were no hot spots and no pressure spots and I have bunions and I've had foot surgery. I have a skinny foot so there's not a lot of fat on my foot you can see the bones in my foot and I have a narrow ankle and heel if this helps anyone. I've never worn at this before so I didn't know my size but I'm glad I finally figured it out in fact I ordered a few more pair. But there is something about this shoe it's called Offroad and to be honest that's the last place I would ever take this shoe. It's an open shoe and so stones and leaves and pieces of grass and twigs very easily get into the shoe which will stop you cold until you get it out of the shoe annoying yes but expected because well this is a sandal. But as it is named and Offroad show no no no no no this is a sidewalk she this is not an even in the streets shoe and that's okay with me because I walk on sidewalks all the time. If I want to walk Offroad which means on gravel or hiking or something yeah sure I'll put on my Merrell's for sure and have my foot completely and totally supported up to the ankle. This is not a hiking shoe this is a walking touring wear it on your vacation to Paris got to walk around a lot of sidewalks kind of shoe. It's not heavy and there are lots of color choices so that's very nice. They do sell out fast though so don't be surprised if they don't have the color you want in your size hang on though sometimes they get that in. I usually wear an 8 and 1/2 in most running shoes like Brooks or Nike or Asics if this helps anyone. In Clark's I wear a size 38... which is European sizing and generally a 7.5 in American sizing. The construction was good even though sometimes people complain about it not being as good as it used to be this was my first pair of ecco's and I think they were fine. I wish the colors in the pictures here with a little bit brighter or lighter to see when ordering but it was what I expected when I got it no surprises there. So if you want a light shoe that's very comfortable I would order your size don't go smaller and keep the shoe on the sidewalks or clean streets. Every shoe has a half-life as far as time wearing goes and I would say that this shoe is comfortable from 70 degrees to 80 degrees for a few hours and not more. If you're serious hiker go get yourself some serious hiking boots and give your ankles some more support. Don't go too small on these or do your normal size and you'll be fine. These were practically the only walking sandals that did not have a two-part over the toe section and that was important to me. I had tried many including Clarks but anything over my toes it can't be more than one Loop over the toes if you know what I mean. Well I hope this is helpful you have any questions feel free to comment I'll try to answer if I catch it. I don't have a picture of my foot in the shoe but the other pictures seem adequate enough.

So far comfortable
So far so good. I am only wearing around the house so far and they seem good and look amazing. I had a pair of Eco sandals in the past and red cuts on the sole pinched the sole of my foot and I had to use an insole with them to block this. Perhaps this was a one off flaw so I thought I'd try again but so far no pinching so I am hopeful that this is what I need for a comfortable walking sandal.

They are so comfortable.
I have been buying Ecco Yucatan sandals since 2014, still wearing that first pair, I now have 5 pairs. I have knee and back problems, these sandals make me feel like I have nothing on my feet. They support my knees and back. They are best sandals I have ever worn. This latest pair are so attractive, will go with many summer outfits, but not look clunky. They are expensive, but what sandal lasts 9 years? The extra money up front is worth the durability and length of time you can wear these amazing sandals. Amazon delivery was excellent as usual.
