Great Fit/Well Made
I bought 3 of these hydration packs for gifts and am thrilled! They are beautiful colors, very light and infinitely adjustable and stay in place while running/hiking. I’m ordering one for myself now! Ok. I got my own pack and wore it today to test it out- everyone needs one of these packs! Being a mountain biker and hiker I have had many hydration packs over the years and have always bought an expensive brand, but know now it’s not necessary. This pack is so light and sturdy and the water tube and mouth piece work well. The bladder is easy to clean and fill. The shoulder straps are comfortable and the whole thing is like wearing a comfortable vest. There is plenty of room for storing an extra windbreaker plus a lunch and extra water holders and pockets. It looks exactly as shown. This is a great value - you won’t be sorry!

Must have for music festivals
Probably saved my love and lots of money over a festival weekend. It also held up to crowd surfing with no leakage whatsoever. It was easy to mix in liquid IV and fit well under my jacket. I was also really happy with the extra pockets and could carry everything i needed. Even the things I had in the outside pocket stayed secure.

Great Running Pack
I love this hydration pack! It is super comfortable and lightweight for long runs. I just ran my first 10K and this made the run much easier. The pack holds a large amount of water and the pockets make it easy to hold everything. I love the 2 small pockets on the strap to hold trash and snacks so I don't have to take my whole backpack off to get to it. The back material was very comfortable so I didnt feel sweaty and gross on the back side. The only thing I wish they would add was a clip where the hose went into the pack because it kept slipping out and bouncing a little but it's still a fantastic option for runners who need a little hydration as they run or for hikers.

Great budget hydropack for music festivals
This is an awesome affordable hydropack. I got this for EDC and Electric Forest 2025 and it exceeded my expectations. Is it cute? No. The straps especially are rather ugly. But in terms of functionality, this is fabulous and that's all I can really ask for on a budget. My 5 star rating is not because this is literally perfect, but because of affordable this is and how it fulfilled all my practical needs. The front strap pockets are WONDERFUL, you can put your phone in one, and your credit card/ID in another, plus any other small items you want to be able to get to without taking your bag off - helped me to not need a fanny pack! I love how putting my phone there helps prevent theft and there's also a fabric strap you can hook your phone tether to. The two front sternum straps are great for dancing. I do wish it had more zippered pockets for organization, but for the price, the combo of the large main pocket and the smaller back pocket worked perfectly for my purposes. Small items went in the small pocket so I wouldn't lose them at the bottom of the large one. The cord thingy on the back is great to attach carabiner items to. The water pouch is great, the way it opens to fill seems a little odd at first, but it's actually super convenient. I didn't have any issues with leaking. I did have to take the entire pouch out of the bag to fill it up all the way which is a little annoying, but that's mostly my fault because I had the bag packed full. The tube and mouth piece worked perfectly. The water definitely had a plastic taste, but I didn't have time to rinse the bag many times before using it, so I'm not sure if the taste is going to linger or not.

Great hydration pack
We got these hydration packs for a special hike up the Manitou Incline in Colorado. They worked out wonderfully. We followed the cleaning instructions when we received them and after that the water tasted great. No plastic taste or smell. There was plenty of room for enough water and ice as well as snacks and a light jacket. There is also 4 additional pockets for additional bottles of water or other items. They fit great and distributed the weight evenly. The straps tighten well and worked for me (120lb female) as well as my husband (240lb male). The water flowed easily when drinking but didn’t leak. It was east to clean and assemble. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star review was that there isn’t an easy was to dry it out after use and cleaning. The hose is impossible to get dried out. I hope it doesn’t cause taste issues next time I use it.

Great lightweight hydration bag for running, biking, kayaking and skiing.
Excellent light hydration backpack. This item is very much task specific. It’s a super light rip stop nylon construction that’s designed to be as light as possible. Good features: - The water flask is a large 2L capacity and has a dial bit and draw design. - The placement is comfortable and the line is long enough to give you some flexibility. - I like the large water fill opening to give you the ability to easily fill, clean and dry the bladder. - It’s a very simple design, just one pouch inside. A single zipper pouch in the front. A helmet strap, cinch strap, in the back. - The front has mesh pouches for snacks, phone, or other items you want at easy reach. - There are two adjustable and height adjustable chest straps and long adjustable shoulder straps. I would have liked to see the strap clips and cinch clips to be a bit more rugged, but I think it’ll work for my purposes. I was planning to use this for biking, skiing, and kayaking/canoeing. I’m a bit concerned that the shoulder straps will be a bit tight in my ski jacket, but for other purposes, it’s perfect! Note that there is no insulation at all. The back and shoulder straps have some sweat and air filter material that has a honeycomb style design to support air flow… but that won’t help in winter skiing insulation. The hoops on the zippers to add a lock, and the light reflective material for visibility is a great touch as well! Great for the purpose!

Backpack is Good, Water Bladder...well
TLDR; Backpack good, Bladder kinda bad. In terms of a small, light, and portable backpack, this checks a lot of boxes. The front storage pouches are great for phones or other small items you want readily available. I cannot attest to how long the backpack will last, but nothing seems overly concerning for light use. The support of the backpack is nonexistent. What I mean is that this backpack is very packable - it's like a jellyfish. There are no firm structural components. I thought the straps would have some type of breathable foam cushion based on the images, but they do not, it's 100% fabric. However, the design really allows the backpack to fit snugly against the torso in a non-restricting way. If you're just looking for a backpack, this may be $5-$10 too expensive. The -2 stars really comes from the water bladder. Quality, durability aside, the issue in the short AND long term is that it's really not easily cleanable OR air dryable. Please take a moment to reread this correctly. Water bladders hold water, and based on intended design, inevitably your spit. The bladder section is fine, and fairly typical, however, the drinking tube traps air and water. The inevitable is going to happen - mildew or mold. There is no way that I can find to easily clean this or air dry it properly. You cannot fit a cleaning brush into the openings, and there is no way to keep the tubes "open". Each end stays closed until the valve is opened and pressure is placed on the bladder. The clear tube looks to have been attached by a machine and possibly heat gun for a firm fit. I will monitor how this bladder does, but I fear that I may need to accept that I'll need to break the "bladder" in order to clean it and possibly replace the actual tubing. So, going back to $5-$10 too much - I feel like I'll end up getting another, cleanable bladder that I'll pair with this, which will cost, you guessed it, $5-$10. That makes total cost of ownership in the potential mid to longer term, depending on how hygienic you are, around $35-$40. At which point, Osprey, with a lifetime warranty, is not that far away...you're 2/3s there already. Will I keep it? I'm not sure yet. I'm glad I cleaned the bladder today rather that keep it until I need it. Otherwise, I would not have discovered this issue. If there is a way to salvage the bladder, I think this is a fair buy. Walmart's Ozark Trail is the same cost, and I do like this one better.
