Real talk: I bought this for my youngest who refuses to fall asleep unless she’s snuggled up with someone’s arm like it’s her emotional support limb. I have been on the hunt for a pillow that supports my head and body in a certain way, while I'm watching TV in bed, before I go to sleep. I already know that a traditional "body pillow" is too much for me: too big, too long, just...too much. I've been using my regular traditional head pillow(s) for support; but I was always shifting, never quite comfortable, and, was getting neck aches. So, I decided to try and find an alternative: alas, the llama pillow! I had a bunch that this was exactly what I was looking for, by the shape of the llama's body and neck; although I was cautiously optimistic---it is after all, a big stuffie! (Big and cute, lol!)As soon as it arrived, I "un-mummified" it (as other reviewers have said, you gotta earn your llama: it's insanely mummified with a thousand pounds of tape! But it soon proved to be worth it. From the first night I slept with it, I could watch TV with ease, and even fell asleep on it (my head nestled on the body, upside-down,) and woke up feeling neck ache free, and surprisingly, the pillow itself for me is lump-free.Also as other reviewers have noted, this llama pillow is NOT for a stand-alone decoration---it will fall right over. Thankfully though, this is not why I bought it, and read all of the reviews before I bought it. AND, it's cute!Total win / win, for this Mama!

Great pillow

The photo is very deceptive. It is less than half the size. Yes it is very soft but to use as shown it is a no go.

Package came in a bag squished and taped like it was a cursed mummy. It was easily wrapped up as a gift this way. It opened up easily and fluffed up quickly. Kind of wish there was more neck rigidity but very satisfied with the animal.

My wife sleeps with this every night. It's not cheap quality, seems to be something that will last a long while. It's soft and supports her when sleeping. Can be used for a kids gift or to support your sleep.
