'Overnight Intruders' humanely evicted from premises
We are very pleased indeed with these Humane Mouse Traps which we purchased as a 4 pack. We discovered we had some 'Overnight Intruders' after one popped up in my son's bedroom, so decided to deal with it promptly before it became a real problem. We bought the 4 pack as we were not sure how/where the mice were entering the house but after a good seach we found a few droppings near a hole cut into the plasterboard in our kitchen. The traps themselves are made from a hard plastic, with a food trap at the end for bait and a spring activated drop down lid at the other end which traps mouse inside of tube. Both ends of the trap are metal reinforced so caught animal cannot knaw through the plastic ends to escape and the drop down lid cannot be pushed up by the trapped mouse. The trap is activated by the mouse when he steps onto pressure plate which is postioned just before the bait, as he steps onto it he releases the spring and the end lid drops down trapping mouse inside of tube. We found that the pressure plate and the spring which activates the drop down lid is quite sensitive as one of the mice we caught was tiny. The drop down end cannot be pushed up as we watched the larger of the mice we caught try to escape by pushing and scratching at it as we carried mousetrap outside to release him. We baited three of the traps with 'peanut butter' as suggested and laid them around the house at what we thought were potential sites of entry and hiding. We laid one behind our freezer where a gas pipe came into kitchen from outside via cavity space, one in our lounge and one in the attic. We were careful to use gloves so as not to pass on a 'human' scent which could put mice off of entering the tube to get to food. We put mouse traps down the day after we received them from seller and waited to see what would happen, no way did we think we would get a result as quickly as we did. After putting down traps we were in the lounge watching TV when we heard a clunk and 'Lo and Behold' just after a couple of hours we had caught our 'Jerry' and he was sat in the tube quite happily still eating the peanut butter even when we lifted trap up to take him outside to the allotments to release. He did panic a little then and tried to lift and scratch his way out the drop down lid but to no avail it stayed closed. He was then released, he was reluctant to leave tube and peanut butter so had to tip up tube slightly to get him out. At no time do you have to touch or come into contact with the mouse itself after you have caught it and then need to release it. Success, we then rebaited the trap and relaid it where it had been just incase there were more. Next morning we checked the traps and all were empty except for the one in the kitchen where we had caught the first mouse - there fast asleep and curled up in the tube was another small mouse. We released this mouse too, washed mouse trap and rebaited and replaced back to spot behind freezer in kitchen as the chances are we have more around the house behind the walls etc. and this appears to be the main point of entry. Hopefully this will resolve the mouse issue. We are really pleased and impressed with these mouse traps, a humane way of DIY catching mice, easy to set up and release trapped mice. A decent price for four of these traps which also come with a cleaning brush, we can definitely recommend on our experience of using these traps. Just a quick tip, after washing traps they are difficult to dry as the tube is too small for the hand so I used a hair dryer on cool to make sure all plastic and metal components were completely dry.

Superb and easy to use!
I almost never write reviews for products I buy on Amazon, but I felt I had to write one for these as they just work so well! Thanks to having a cat and living next to some fields, we had seen some evidence of mice in our utility room and heard something in the loft. Having read another review about using peanut butter, I loaded one trap with a small blob of peanut butter and put it down in the utility room. The next morning I came down to find one mouse sat in the trap, a little scared but otherwise unharmed, and I was able to release it at the bottom of the garden. I cleaned the trap out and put it down again the next night, and caught another one! I have also caught three more from the loft. Whilst it is not great to find I have had 5 mice living in my house, these traps are fantastic. High quality, humane and work quickly and easily. Can not recommend highly enough if you have a mouse problem.

The Rolls Royce of humane mousetraps
I don't write reviews often but after using these excellent traps for over a year I thought I'd share my experience. These are absolutely the Rolls Royce of mouse traps in my opinion. My cat is an excellent hunter and occasionally brings home 2 a night (the record is 7 in 5 days). So I bought these in 2024 to try. They have consistently surprised me with how quick and effective they are. Sometimes it takes less than an hour but never more than a few hours. I put peanut butter on the feeder and it works wonders. Easy to setup, also easy to clean. Photo is of the mouse I caught tonight about 30 minutes after my little predator dropped him in the hall. And a picture of Rocket looking like butter wouldn't melt.

Good trap, stubborn mouse.
Good quality, easy to use, love that this is an animal friendly method, closed and opened as designed to, but... didn’t work to catch the mouse. Tried everything, cheese, nuts, all the things! Good trap though, my mouse was just stubborn!

Poor performance
I can’t believe these have been given such good reviews , I was so excited to get them as I watched video and read reviews and all I have done for the last week is watch the mice go in eat the food leave and come back later for seconds. I don’t know if the mice are too light as they are small. I would never recommend these traps .

Versatility of these traps is commendable
As a customer who has used Upoovver Mouse Traps, I'm pleased to share my review outlining the good and bad aspects of this product: The good: 1. Humane trapping: One of the best features of these mouse traps is their humane design. They allow for catching mice without causing harm, making it suitable for those who prefer a more ethical approach to pest control. 2. Indoor and outdoor use: The versatility of these traps is commendable. They work effectively both indoors and outdoors, allowing users to address mouse infestations in various areas of their home or property. 3. Easy to use: Upoovver Mouse Traps are designed for straightforward operation. Setting them up and placing them in strategic locations is hassle-free, making it convenient for users of all experience levels. 4. Reusable: These traps are reusable, which is not only environmentally friendly but also cost-effective in the long run. After capturing a mouse, you can release it safely and reset the trap for future use. The bad: 1. Attraction may vary: While these traps are generally effective, their success may depend on attracting mice to the trap's location. Some users may find that certain bait options work better than others, which might require some trial and error. 2. Limited capture capacity: These traps are designed to catch one mouse at a time. If you have a significant mouse infestation, it might be necessary to set up multiple traps in different locations. 3. Outdoor exposure: While the traps can be used outdoors, exposure to weather conditions might impact their durability and effectiveness over time. Overall, Upoovver Mouse Traps provide a humane and user-friendly solution for dealing with mouse infestations both indoors and outdoors. However, users should consider the attraction methods and the need for multiple traps, especially for larger infestations.

Fantastic mouse trap!
Mice and I can't stay in the same place, this doesn't work! I left the back door open a bit too long, just enough to park my bike, and one from the neighbouring houses managed to find its way inside. An urgent Amazon search for mousetraps started, with the main criteria being same-day or next-day delivery. The traps arrived right on time (just in the nick of time, as I couldn't stand another night with a mouse hiding inside!). The instructions were easy to follow. I applied crushed hazelnuts to few of them and placed them strategically. I didn't have to wait long—less than 10 minutes, et voilà! (Even if at the beginning, I thought I forgot to open it or that something felt on it, and I was about to reopen the door when I saw the mouse moving inside, so be aware that if it is a tiny mouse, they can hide next to the door so that you won't see them until they move and you can accidentally open the door thinking that there is nothing inside and release them!) The traps are really good: lightweight but sturdy. They are very sensitive and triggered instantly as the mouse stepped on the trigger. Just make sure nothing is below the trigger when putting the bait, as this will prevent it from going down, leading to the door not closing and the mouse escaping. Also, I am unsure how efficient they will be during the day because of the light and activity; so, I decided to place them in the evening when it is darker and quieter in the mouse's likely roaming areas. It's a well thought out design and I can't recommend these highly enough!

FANTASTIC! Mouse caught in 5 minutes!
One of my cats is a prolific hunter and regularly brings little friends into the house. Usually they are ex-friends (if you get my drift) but early this morning he brought in a mouse that was veru much alive and dropped it on the living room floor. Naturally the mouse promptly scarpered under a sideboard and then disappeared from view. The cat was frantic for hours trying to find it but eventually gave up ... leaving a live mouse somewhere in the room. An urgent search on amazon for mousetraps ensued, the main criteria being whether they could be delivered same day. And so these traps were chosen. After a long day with no sign of the little friend I finally had a sighting! Much comedy ensued as we attempted to catch it 'manually'. As luck would have it the traps were arrived in the nick of time. The instructions were easy to follow, I applied peanut butter to two of them and placed them either side of the sofa. I didn't have to wait long - 5 minutes later and voilà! The mouse was humanely trapped! I'm letting him enjoy his snack before I release him (hopefully he won't be brought straight back in by my naughty cat) The traps are really good, lightweight but sturdy. They're very sensitive and it triggered instantly that the mouse stood on the 'trigger', with no harm done at all. I cannot praise these highly enough and I'm going to leave them deployed around the living room for the next time Leonard decides to bring a little friend round to play
