Great new flavour discovery
From someone who's trying to cut plastic containers and packaging- I think this is my new favourite thing. Dates are lush, but this is dangerously delicious! By the way, I have no reference point, never tried any other date syrup. Really nice taste. Cannot wait to use in the energy bars recipe. Also, arrived safely: was really worried after seeing so many broken jars reviews.. Maybe I was lucky or they started to pack better.

A great ingredient
I bought this to substitute for golden syrup in ginger cake recipes. It's thick and dark and really has a great flavour, whereas golden syrup is just sweet. I'm sure you can use this for other things but for me, I'd buy it just for my dark gingerbread, a favourite in autumn and winter.

Not sealed well
Jar was well packaged however was not sealed correctly so the whole jar had leaked. I am unable to use.

Lovely syrup
Great flavour and consistency. Only negative comment if it's negative, I'd prefer a squeezy bottle to a jar as the jar tends to get sticky after a while.

Not a Date to Remember
I was really looking forward to this but the lid was not sealed and it had leaked, obviously I will not be having any and it has gone into the bin. Luckily I was able to get a refund.

Wooo love it
I make energy balls with it, using crushed almonds, coconut and date syrup. I always loved this brand of date syrup and had it growing up Shout out to the Iraqis that grew up with it (so great when you mix it with Tahini)
