The only disappointment is that the usb-c in the side is charging only. Otherwise, well worth the money and works with many android devices too.

Having purchased a new MacBook I needed something to be able to plus usb sticks in etc and this was a reasonable price so I took a punt and glad I did. Very smart and works nicely. A very good hub for the price.

Well made and good quality control and built to last even if not a big household name. ✅ Fully functional and tested fine. ✅ 100W PD pass through charging. ✅ All three USB are USB 3 ports and all seat connections cleanly. ✅ Good addition to tech toolkit Please note that there are a few reasons for not giving this 5 stars. 1. Its 4K@30Hz and not 4K@60Hz. This means that this is likely HDMI 1.4 only and not more current HDMI 2.0+ 2. Single display port and only HDMI - but it is only 5 ports. The question we think that you need to ask is whether you want to future proof yourself and opt for wider format of ports etc. if not then this is well worth a look.

I used this item to expand my USB A port selection and it works just fine. Aesthetically its minimalist enough so doesn't look out of place. Great item & good value.

The video shows exactly what you get and my initial impressions of build quality as well as a quick overview of the ports, so I won’t go into all that here. Instead, I’ll go into what I consider most important: the transfer speeds and the port functionality. Full testing methodology included below for your information, but really, the summary is all you need to know. Summary: Great quality hub. No issues with the speeds of any of the ports, feels of sturdy construction. I would have preferred the USB 3.0 ports to have been coloured blue, but that's a minor niggle. Recommended. This hub is capable of outputting video to an external display, although you should remember that the USB C port on your computer or device must be able to display video over USB C to use the display features (not all USB C ports do). Pros & Cons: + Good/expected: Almost no drop in performance for the USB 3 Type A and Power Delivery ports compared to plugging into the computer directly. + Good/expected: HDMI port worked without issue. - Bad/disappointing: None. ----------------------------------------- Testing methodology: - USB 3 type A: Control - 10 GBps SSD enclosure containing 3300 MB/s NVMe SSD plugged directly into a USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps) Type A socket on the test PC (CrystalDiskMark benchmark 464.13 MB/s); Test - Same drive plugged into the 5Gbps USB 3 type A port on this hub. - Power Delivery: Control - Measured using inline Type C Power monitor connected to 100W charger delivering power directly to a power bank capable of max 18W (9V 2A) charging; Test - Same, but through this hub instead of directly. - HDMI: Tested (display and audio) via connection to Samsung monitor and LG 4K TV using known good HDMI cable Results: - USB 3 Type A speed: 463.13 MB/s (1 MB/s slower than control) - Power Delivery: 17.20 W (0.5 W less than control) - HDMI out: OK (including audio delivery over HDMI)

I have quite a few UGREEN products, but I do have a huge complaint about this hub. When connecting an external monitor, it creates a huge input lag. So working on the computer is almost impossible, using the external monitor. It is advertised as a 'hub'(not a dock) and for the purposes of 'presentations and streaming'. So they are 100% correct, but at end the of the day it is a very poor HDMI performance.

Works perfect with S23 ultra Dex mode. Very good product.
