Lovely book funny heartwarming and very interesting parts of the world and people Billy has come across its a lovely read

As always Billy writes an interesting and amusing account.Very pleased with this book.

I love this book. I feel good just owning it. My husband bought it for me and I just love it and the tv series. I've tried reading it from the beginning but as soon as I read a few lines from the page it falls open on I can't stop and just keep on reading. The book contains much more detail than the tv series is able to and is a complete joy. Billy Connolly is a joy and I whole heartedly recommend this book to you if you like Billy Connolly.

When you sit and read and can 'hear' Billy talking, this makes this book fun! I haven't seen the series and really would like to as I live on the west coast of Canada in British Columbia.

Arrived quickly and in good order. Great read, typically Billy.

Interesting informative read and again another book that does not fail expectations

I am so glad I got this book and I highly recommend it. It's not a humor book but it does have some humor. And it is absolutely charming (of course). Most importantly, it has the most fascinating information and stories about Canada and the schmucks that tried to "settle" there, and the peoples who were there first. Absolutely riveting! I wish history class had been like this! haha

I bought the book with 2 others as a birthday gift for my wife.At this stage it has not been read as her birthday was yesterday, but I chose it on recommendation from several friends & he has developed a reputation as an entertaining author!

We warched this series in Scotland and wanted to re-live it. Thank you for making that possible in our new home

Billy Connoly is one of my all time heroes. This book is an excellent accompaniment to the video series he did with the same title. Watch the video series first, then read the book. Throughout the book he tells tales of his adventure acros the Northwest Passage and the people he meets, but then interjects commentary from his own life and opinion of matters happening during travel. I hear his voice in my head as I'm reading. I highly recommend the book, and the video series.
