ESR Paper-Feel Magnetic Screen Protector for iPad Pro 12.9 Inch (6th/5th/4th/3rd Generation, 2022/2021/2020/2018), Write and Draw Like on Paper, Detachable and Reusable, Matte Finish

I have used this for several months and have had no issues with it. It's been quite nice to have the bit of resistance with the textured feel. The kit came with everything needed for easy and bubble-free installation. Cleaning the screen was quick and the sticky lint remover worked as expected. Installation took about 5 minutes and I didn't cuss once. 👍🏻 The magnetic attachment makes it easy to lift and grab little lint pieces you might miss. It stays put and the paper-feel is good, without being too rough. I've not seen an increase in wear of the pencil tip,either. I don't have a gap between my screen and the protector, but can see where that might happen if the protector is put on the wrong way. The protector is definitely thicker than many i have seen, but functionality of the screen doesn't seem to be affected. I have no issues with screen clarity, even when doing anything more detailed. This makes my drawing and writing more like using a pencil on paper and I would recommend it for those who use their iPad for writing or drawing.

I’ve always wanted to see what all the hype was about with “paperlike” feel when writing on my iPad, but I’m one that always use a glass screen protector on all my devices, and I’m also not ready to give up a vibrant screen and have a matte screen full time. This checks all the boxes. 1) First and foremost, the feel is great! I don’t have any other products to compare against, but compared to a glass screen protector, this protector is a big improvement. I changed the tip and it is an even bigger improvement. I love writing on the screen now, and I am much more precise (although a large part is the new tip). Both the tip and the screen protector really changes the writing experience completely. 2) The ability to use this on top of a screen protector is great. I have not noticed any changes in responsiveness or any movement of the protector (it stays in place). Writing is as good as before. While the screen is now matte, the quality is still acceptable and does not seem too washed out or anything. 3) The reusability and ability to take it off when needed is great! I can take it off to watch a movie and put it back on to take notes. I do think that the magnet is only on one side of the iPad (the side without the pen). For the other side (right side), the edge has a tackiness that holds it in place (when the screen protector arrives, both edges come with a protective lining that is to be removed). Only time will tell how long the screen will stay in place as well as it does, but for now, it stays in place very well and without any gaps. 4) Finally, the customer service is great. I had a slight issue with the order (not the product), but customer service fixed it immediately. Overall, I highly recommend this product if you want to try the paperfeel but are not ready to give up a vibrant screen. This gives you the best of both and does not disappoint.

I’m used to drawing on glass on my iPads all the time. And I don’t like the feel of paper screen protectors for everyday use. I’m glad I found this! The magents on the screen protectors are really strong! Obviously very easy to install, no bubbles or anything. The package includes the little folder To keep the screen protectors in, wet and dry wipes. And a cloth! The screen protector helps me build that process of getting comfortable drawing on procreate with paper. And keeping my iPad with the tempered glass protector

It works well. Definitely has the grip of drawing paper (not as smooth as printer paper). It’s a very satisfying feel. The magnetic quality is good. Very strong. For note-taking and drawing, it’s excellent! But not something you want keep on if you want to swipe! It’s like super fine grain sandpaper to the finger tips. The iPad Pro works fine with it on. But I would prefer to remove it when not primarily writing or drawing. Thanks to the grainy texture, I don’t write with as much pressure as I would with an actual pencil to paper. I’m not concerned about my stylus pen tip all that much. But I can see it would wear down much faster than without the screen. I think it’s a choice to press hard while writing or not. So, unless you just can’t write with a lighter touch, this is a very nice product. And it does the job. I’ve only had it a few days. I don’t know how long it will last before the texture wears off. I guess you can consider if you’d spend about as much on paper and pencils if you used it as long, or wrote that much using actual pencils, drawing paper, or notebooks. I like that it has a storage sleeve. It definitely gets stored when writing and drawing are not my primary use. I use both an Apple Pen, and a generic stylus pen. Apple pen for full function and drawing. Knockoff for just note-taking. When drawing, I use the pressure sensitivity of my Apple Pen. So, that would wear down the tip much faster than just writing. That said, it’s very easy to get replacement tips for the Apple Pen. It will be trickier to get the right size replacement tips for my knockoff pens! But I’m okay with that. I like feeling relaxed gripping my pen while writing. I like the extra control from the texture. I recommend it. And would purchase again when my current one is worn out.

I'd been holding off on getting this because i thought it was a "nice to have"... Well, turns out to be one of the best accessories for my ipad 12.9" and I should have just gotten it sooner. It performs wonderfully for more traction/resistance when writing & drawing. It's not too rough or textured and it literally feels like paper to the touch. I opted for this magnetic one (vs adhesive screen film) because there are times I'd like to see the "real" color, and it's been super convenient. The magnets have held up very well and does not budge through all normal functions (swiping, writing/drawing, cleaning, grabbing the ipad, etc). But wait, there's more... -it has cut down the high pitched 'tapping' noise when using the standard pencil. I tried tips to tone down the noise, but it affected drag for me when drawing. -touch screen sensitivity feels like it's improved. the friction surface seems to help with finger taps and scrolling. -the colors on the screen do become slightly less vibrant, but after a couple of weeks, my eyes have adjusted to recognize the tolerance. I find myself turning up a corner to do "color checks" less often. tl;dr: Great quality, good price, happy with the performance. buy now :)

Installed this on my iPad many months ago. It was easy to install. No dust or bubbles during installation and it’s firmly stuck to the surface. I like both the look and feel of it. It’s still perfect and shows no wear from pencil usage.

When I first purchased this, I was really pleasantly surprised with the quality. I cleaned my screen and then applied the paper like protector and it fit like a glove!! it laid flat on the iPad and honestly it was hard to take off once I got it on. I actually appreciated that It was pretty difficult to take off because I use my iPad during speech sessions and as you can see, I have 1 million little fingerprints all over my screen so I didn’t want them to be able to mess with it. I also like to use my Apple Pencil a lot and I knew this would be a good way to preserve my screen. Once I applied it, I never took it off my screen. However, as you can see from my video the paper-like sheet protector has started to create a “bubble” and it will not lay flat on my screen. I took the Paper-like protector off to clean my screen and wipe down my iPad and when I reapplied it, it would not lay flat. I tried cleaning the screen and reapplying it but it still created the bubble in the middle. The bubble is a little more noticeable now so I find my students trying to stick their little fingers in there which was what I was trying to avoid. I’m not sure if I would re purchase but it was great while it lasted

Fantastyczna folia do rysowania. Rysowałam 8 lat na ipadzie bez żadnej folii ochronnej ale ostatnio wróciłam do tradycyjnych mediów i nie byłam w stanie więcej zdzierżyć 'ślizgającego' się apple pencil'a po ekranie. Dzięki tej folii magnetycznej rysik zachowuje się dokładnie tak jak kredka/pisak/pędzel w szkicowniku, coś cudownego. Trochę osłabia kolory ale dzięki temu, że jest magnetyczna nie widzę problemu - można w dwie sekundy ją sciągnąć, podejrzeć kolory i wracać do roboty :) sama aplikacja to super łatwa sprawa, prosto i przyjemnie. Coś cudownego w mega przystępnej cenie! Do tego fajnie udało się zamontować razem z etui marki spigen :)

This is a genius invention!!!! I really dislike screen protectors with the texture for gaming / video watching but really like it when drawing or taking notes. This allows for both to happen, so for me it's a major win!!

La svolta! Ho sempre voluto una pellicola matte per l’iPad per utilizzare al meglio la penna ma non volevo averla sempre (tipo se sto guardando un film o cose simili). Questa è fantastica perché è rimovibile. Ti danno anche una custodia dove riporla quando non in uso + il kit per pulire lo schermo (la prima volta). La calamita si attacca perfettamente, e la scrittura con il Pencil è decisamente un altro mondo. La pellicola in sé da l’impressione di essere staccata dallo schermo, ma in realtà non da fastidio e non inficia la scrittura. Non consiglio di tenerla h24 a meno che non si usi l’iPad solo ed esclusivamente per disegni/appunti ecc.
