Made my nails & eyelashes grow
The cocoa taste so good mixed in a blender with grassfed milk. Tastes like a smoothy. Nothing else needs to be added. My nails have been growing so long and strong and healthy, they don't break as they usually do and my eyelashes grew too I showed my mom my eyelashes and she was amazed

Good quality
The collagen is a good quality collagen and tastes decent. It may be a tad expensive, at over $2 a serving.

Grass Fed Goat Whey, Fifth Generation Family Farm, Delicious Hot Cocoa With Health Benefits
The media could not be loaded. MT. CAPRA Hot Cocoa Clean Minerals with Collagen Peptides is a delicious hot cocoa drink with 16 servings per container. I Love getting collagen peptides that taste like a treat. This supplement has a chart listing the collagen amino acid profile, so you know what you are receiving. The contents is limited to a very small list of ingredients, which I greatly appreciate: Grass-Fed Goat Whey Mineral Concentrate, Collagen Peptides (bovine), Organic Cocoa, Honey Crystals (Cane Sugar Honey) Monkfruit Extract, Vanilla Bean. One thing that is unique about this product is that it contains goat milk/whey and, as an added bonus, supports a fifth generation family arm in the Pacific Northwest.

seems like a great product and a great company
There are a lot of questionable supplements on the market (even collagen) so it's a relief to find one that seems to be made with real integrity. Mt Capra actually has its own farm with its own animals and can control the quality of production. Compare that to the worst case scenario where the animals are in another country and eating feed grown where industrial runoff is prevalent. It can be really unsettling. That said, Mt Capra doesn't appear to be certified organic, but it is grass fed which is a big plus nutritionally. This particular product is collagen with a dollup of whey, which they claim adds a healthy dose of minerals lm. I've never heard of whey being a significant source of minerals, but if they have a way to concentrate that, that's fine.Normally, if you're taking a specific protein (specific balance of aminos) for a specific purpose (which demands a specific balance of aminos) you'd want to take that independently of other proteins. Collagen is a good example of this, but this particular collagen is mixed with some amount of whey. From the amino acid profile it doesn't seem to be very much whey (there's still a dominance of proline, hydroxy proline, glycine per collagen) and yet whey (a much broader amino profile) is listed first on the ingredients.I mixed this in hot water as suggested, into a hot chocolate of sorts. It's not exactly hot chocolate, but it's a lot better than I expected for collagen. It's only very mildly sweet, and thankfully they sweetened it in a healthy way (honey, etc). I also tried this with coffee and cocoa to make a decent mocha - but of course kept milk protein at a minimum (so, cream).I think it's a good product and it stands out from other collagen supplements here on Amazon.

Tastes like any cocoa mix
I looked closely at the ingredients prior to ordering to make sure this was not sweetened with stevia because I cannot tolerate the stevia aftertaste. This Hot Cocoa Collagen Peptides mix uses monkfruit, cane sugar and honey as a sweetener. I appreciate they broke down each amino acid in the collagen, however I cannot find how many mg of collagen per serving. When I compare to a packet of regular store hot cocoa mix there's no contest. The traditional hot cocoa mix has sugar as the first ingredient then cocoa then corn syrup and has little to no vitamins. This Collagen Peptides mix has 240mg calcium even though it is mixed with water plus 0 fat, 0 cholesterol. It does have slightly more calories than reg cocoa mix. The minerals come from grass fed goats and the collagen from cows.I mixed two scoops (see photo, one scoop is slightly more than 1/8 cup) with 8 ounces of hot water as directed. Two large scoops seems like a lot but I tasted it with one scoop and it was way too weak but the mix dissolves immediately and does not sink to bottom like reg hot cocoa. The first sip I thought is was not quite as good as regular hot cocoa mix but by the middle of the cup I decided there was no difference other than this may not be quite as sweet. I should also mention I do use part milk with the reg hot cocoa mix and will try that tomorrow with this. Overall I'm pleasantly surprised that this collagen mix is that good. I love it when I can't tell I'm consuming something that's actually good for me.There was a seal strip over the lid to container and another full seal under the lid. My container is dated best by 12/2026. The 675g container will only last 16 servings at 42g per serving.
