Sony PlayStation 3 - 80GB System (Renewed)

I initially got this as a gift for my young nephew thinking this would be a good gift. (The genius that I am, I did not ask what would be best for him, I just bought it thinking it would be a good gift). His parents did not want him to play any more video games, which I respect, so when I found this out I had to return it. However, I tested to confirm the system worked. 1) The system was shipped on time. 2) It came very clean and it worked well. 3) The seller was very understanding of the return and took it back. (this all happened within a couple of days. I thought they earned a good review but more importantly, I ordered a PS3 from another Amazon supplier, and it was dirty and did not work! So I was happy they did a good job and thought I should let others know. REFUND: I received my refund from this company within a couple of days. The other PS3 company (system did not work), It has been several weeks and I still have not received my refund. Totally different quality and service.

Do not waste your money! I was pleasantly surprised to see I got a ps3 controller & an hdmi cable in the box along with the old school red yellow & white plug. Figured I’d hook it up with the hdmi but it won’t wirk. After hours of internet searches I manage to get it working using the old low quality component plug. Nothing I do will get the hdmi cable to work (even Sony’s guide on manually changing the output) my guess is they sent me a console with a faulty hdmi port. I wouldn’t be bothered but when using the component hook up, the display is 3 inches shorter than my tv on both sides leaving black spaces which is distracting and unpleasant. Knowing any of this beforehand I would have spent a little extra to go to GameStop. Don’t waste your time. Update; after approx 2 hours of playing, the console turned off and wouldn’t respond to any attempts at waking it up. Total brick. Plus I got to pay 30$ to send the piece of garbage back. Don’t waste your time or money! Update: the seller had offered a refund on the shipping Update: I did as asked and sent the seller a copy of my receipt for shipping. No refund. A week ago I emailed asking about the refund, so far no reply. I’ve sent a second email.

Well packaged in bubble wrap with controller, controller charge cord, HDMI cable, and system power cable. System and controller were clean and in good refurbished condition. Appreciate the care to the product for shipping. Very pleased with CaveGamers.

It wasn't a bad device. It still has all of its functions and it was good condition as I received it. It was just the wrong model of console i was looking for. More in particularly one that could play all 3 generations of Playstation 1, 2, and 3 games. Im sorry if I made things complicated for my search...

Don’t waste your money on refurbished from here. Lasted 90 days without issue to honor the warranty! Didn’t make it even 6 months total

The console itself is fine, looks good, and functions correctly. It ran the game I wanted it to play. I'm kind of disappointed about the weird knock-off controller, though. Most other reviews seem to have gotten real ones, so I'm not sure why I got some weird version. Regardless, it functions. I just wish it wasn't some weird fishy copy controller. Star docked for that. Otherwise, everything works as expected and I have no complaints about the console itself.

Came with the original box and packed with a hdmi and power adapter with 1 controller, feels like it bought it brand new!
