Good overall. Needs perfecting.
The earbuds are pretty decent. Don't let the advertisements get you. They're not perfect but everything is great about these earbuds except 2 things. There's a low buzzing noise when you aren't listening to anything. Now I don't know if that's all of them but mine buzz. Also its not easy to take the earbuds out of the case. The shape of these earbuds cause my fingers to slip off of them forcing me to pry them out with one finger. Not a fan of that. Other than those 2 complaints I'd say not worth $200 maybe pick them up on sale.

Awesome multi use buds
Never going back to muffs. These things work incredibly well. You can have normal conversations in the middle of competition and hear fine. I use them for lawn work too. Music quality is decent and the noise cancellation works great to where I can hear my music but not a mower or chain saw. They can get a little uncomfortable after extended use but I just get a little water in my ear canal before I seat the buds and that has helps a ton. A little lube goes a long way AmIRight?

I wanted to like these
I wanted to like these but I just couldnt. The foam ear pieces are very uncomfortable. I've tried several other brands in ear and these were the most uncomfortable pair I have tried yet. If you turn the noise enhancement or talk through feature on, there is a constant hissing or white noise in the background even in the lowest sound mode. It made wearing these things unbearable. Best way I could describe it is if you remember the old TVs when a channel would go out and they just go to static. You hear it even when playing music or on a phone call. This was indoors with no wind and outside wind noise would make it even worse. I contacted customer service hoping I had a defective pair and they said this was normal for all of them. I returned them after that.I didnt use them long enough to test out battery life but my other observations are that the earbuds are difficult to get in and out of the charging case. They just dont fit well like any other earbud types I've tried. Overall these were very disappointing quality for the price.

Good for music
I got to wear with my over the ear protection. Was never able to get it to notify me of any text message or call. Reached out to axil and didn't get any real help. Reached out to Amazon who said I might have a defective pair. They sent me a replacement which I also could get to work right. Tried shooting my 40 cal and my right ear rang. At that point being it didn't tell me anything about text and didn't work well for noise protection (even after passing the clap test) I didn't want to keep to try with my 5.7 which is why I got them. To wear under my over the ear due to the 5.7 being loud and still be able to hear music and messages. Did sound good for music

Initial Bluetooth connection issues, sound protection not enabled by default
I almost returned these after my initial Bluetooth setup connected to each earbud separately and I could only play music to one ear at a time. I ultimately choose “forget device” for both earbuds and then reconnected to “Axil Xcor” again and now they stream music as a stereo pair as expected. For hearing protection you MUST long-tap the side for 2 seconds h til you hear a voice say “sound on” for this feature to be enabled. Overall I am pleased with the product’s performance, quality, and price. I do feel the manufacturer could have a detailed and clear video for setup instructions that illustrates the difference between the silicone and foam tips, Bluetooth connection and sound protection enabling modes.

Totally worth it.
Got them a couple days ago and got to the range today, the fit and comfort was very good. Once I turned the pass though audio on it sounded like they weren’t there. After the session my ears felt good and they more then adequate blocked the loud gunshot noises. It was also nice to listen to music while I was loading mags

UPDATE: Issues with bluetooth now.
UPDATE: I've used these on six occasions in the last 3 weeks. The last two times I had Bluetooth issues. One earbud connected and the other would not. I had to do a factory reset on the entire thing. The last time I used them one of the earbuds would drop audio continually, come back in out of sync, and then drop again. Once again I had to factory reset. I want to like these but unfortunately the quality, while better than Gloryfire, is just not there. Also these do not work with radios as they don't have the right Bluetooth protocols.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I tried the Axil Xcor and the Gloryfire shooting ear protection. Axil won hands down. Lets talk about what needs improvement with the axil first though. The touch control is problematic in the field. If you are wearing gloves (which I almost always am in the field or on the jobsite) then you usually have to remove them to operate it. I would much prefer a physical button. Also there is no feedback letting you know when you actually touched it (like airpods have). I do wish there was more retention besides just the foamies in your ear canal but I will say they do stay in surprisingly well. Sound quality over bluetooth is meh but acceptable. Lastly the bluetooth overall could be better, sometimes I have issues getting it to disconnect from my phone, some odd devices (like radios with bluetooth for communication) don't pick up the voice channel well but talking on a cellphone works fine.) Now the good. Sound passthrough is great, I wish it had audio amplification as well but the bluetooth version does not but I'm willing to give that up. Voices sound NATURAL and actually come through. After trying the gloryfire and not being able to understand anyone, even in a quiet environment, the axil were a nice change. They are light and while the foam expands much faster than I like because it can be hard to squish and get them in they fit very well and easily with only mild discomfort (normal for me with foamies). Overall great product with only minor improvements needed. I really wish they would team up with decibullz and use those earplugs with these electronics, that would be even better.
