We Love this item! However, it recently stopped working. We've had it less than 1 year and the After-Sales Engineer with Sinchi was great to work and made the process a great experience.

I purchased this laminating machine not even a year ago. Not long after purchase it stopped working and the company sent another one and told me to discard the old one. We'll now the 2nd one stopped working and it hasn't been a year from the 1st purchase. I will not spend money on a 3rd one.

My old GBC laminating machine finally died. It was a workhorse. It had a couple thousand laminations or more through it. Motor went out. I was looking for an office grade, heavy use, workhorse machine. Yep, I got it. Once I got used to the time-out protection function and understood what it was doing (protecting the machine from idle running), I was cranking out 60 letter size 5 mil laminations in no time. I brought this (personal) machine to work for this job. After having a day on it, I'm going to order the same unit for work. It is the right price point for what it does. The noise is not bad at all. Had an ongoing conversation with a co-worker while knocking out the lamination job. Glad I went with this model over another GBC. Happy customer.

We bought this laminator for our business. It worked beautifully but about 8 months in, it developed some issues. I contacted the company who immediately responded to my email. After determining the issue was unfixable, they overnighted us a brand new laminator with a full warranty. We couldn't be happier with their product or their service.

The unit scratches the laminate and warps it at all speeds/thicknesses

At first glance, this machine appears to definitely be a heavy duty piece of equipment, and as mentioned is more suited to commercial use (which we are). Having an output tray would be a huge help and improvement in a future version of this model machine.To be totally honest, if a few bubbles here and there in your final output, or a slightly wavy end product is ok with you, then this machine will fill your laminating needs. In our case, because we didn't quite get the output quality we needed, the seller offered us a refund.We offered honest feedback, and hope it is used in ongoing product development. Because the seller cared about our needs and issues we were facing, and responded quickly, as such we have changed our review to eliminate the details of the problem, and changed our rating to a four star rating.Thank you SINCHI for caring about our needs enough to offer a refund. I had one Sinchi that I loved but needed to be replaced. This is now the 2nd one that scratches up products insanely bad. The first I had never scratched the laminate. Look to the left of the light on mine and you can see. I can give more photos too of others. It scratches in all directions it's fed so whether horizontal/vertical. I had already sent one back last weekend and this was my replacement - they both do the same severe scratching. I can't keep returning in hopes of getting one that doesn't ruin what I'm laminating.I have narrowed it down and the scratching happens on the bottom only. So the top doesn't get scratched but bottom does. I also put in a pouch completely free of scratches and the bottom still came out super scratched.
