Very delicious... We typically add small amount of chocolate chips, makes it a nice double chocolate flavor.Why four stars... Our first shipment, we got 11 out of 12. Amazon made it right, but be sure to open ans count when you get them.

Dearest Reader,Please join me in the absolute journey I had in testing this dessert.Halo Top is a constant recommendation for those wanting something sweet without all the added sugar and calories that comes with it. Given I sometimes listen to others I purchased the chocolate single serving and liked the packaging, instructions, texture, density, and portioning, but MY GOD THE SMELL.Imagine the shaggiest dog you can fathom - we’re talking hair on hair, matted mess full of dirt, doo-doo, and every bit of dander you can pile on a pup: now picture that dog coming inside after rolling around in the mud and rain for hours.That might get CLOSE to what this product smells like when you pull it out of the microwave. I had genuinely thought I’d just received a bad batch or potentially over-cooked it given my microwave is higher wattage than average but I can assure you all, that was not the case. I went to my local Kroger and bought another, made it at home and it was THE SAME. Wet dog is not appetizing in the slightest, on that I’m sure we can agree right? So why did I still try to eat it?Was it to prove there was a bang for my buck? That maybe it was about the quality of the product, of its value, and not the smell of death? Potentially it was that curiosity did finally get the cat and my whiskers were in denial at what my nose was screaming - “BEGONE! BURN IT IMMEDIATELY!”I can tell you that it also tastes like wet dog. And I never, ever, ever want to taste that again.Still giving 2 stars because maybe someone out there will read this review and think “oh yes, that’s my cup of tea” and to them I say - ENJOY YAY. But to every other reader I beg you to heed my warning.Yeet this stuff back to the kingdom from whence these halos came and pray to whatever deity it never enters your home again.

Tastes like chemicals. Birthday cake flavor was worse. That's a lot coming from me who loves everything birthday cake flavored. I spit it out and threw it in the trash. My brother couldn't even swallow it when he tried it. It's like if you baked a cake, soaked the pan in cleaner, scrubbed off the remnants with a sponge, and then took a bite out of the sponge.
