Wilkinson Sword Unknown Stainless Steel Border Fork

This border fork seems perfectly fine to me. I am no expert gardener but I viewed a few at local stores/garden centres before ordering with Amazon and they seemed to be either cheap and flimsy or heavy and sturdy but very expensive. B&Q had a decent one for around £25 but I decided to go for the Wilkinson brand instead, because It is well known. Glad I did. Its a good solid fork at a reasonable price and, incidentally, has the same number of rivets as most of the others I saw on sale, including the dearer ones!

This fork is ideal for me as I am very small and it is very light. T he tines are quite long but the top is narrow which could be difficult for someone with bigger feet.

I bought this as part of a pair with a border spade as a Christmas present, and they have not yet been used. It appears to be a good solid border fork, as expected from Wilkinson Sword who are an old well established company.

Purchased for my daughter as it is light weight. Ideal, good quality.

This is the second border fork i bought as the first one I bought from a different manufacturer feel apart after the first use. This is a quality product and as one of the previous comments says, it does have a very sticky label but all you need is a bit of white spirit and it comes straight off. Don't let that comment put you off it's pure quality.

Not as expected and returned for refund. Very disappointed with the fork. I have a full size fork which has been great and wanted a border fork the same. The pictures shown seem the same but when it arrived there were two rivets holding the head to the handle which were in my opinion were very poorly finished and spoilt the fork for me. The same rivets on my full size fork had been beautifully finished and the fork is a pleasure to use. This border fork is not the same quality of finish and I would not recommend it and it lets the name Wilkinson Sword down.

A quality product which looks as though it will stand the test of time. Received before the projected delivery date.
