This Gonex fly fishing set is a great deal for anyone looking at getting into fly fishing. I'm newer to Fly Fishing and it seems to be a great set for beginners. The rod and reel seem to be well made, and are of good quality. The flies are decent, they are defiantly good to start out and learn with, but I would suggest buying some higher quality flies as well. Overall it is a great set for beginners and those who want to get into fly fishing.

This is my first fly fishing set ever, so I'm not very experienced. That being said, I was very impressed at how long the rod was and how well it folded down. It fits so well in a relatively small bag, and is super light as well. The fly line seems to be of great quality, and you can cast it so far! I was very disappointed that the flies that came with this set were very poor quality and were literally feathers glued onto hooks. However, that's not too big of a deal for me since I already have a couple of flies that I normally use on my spinning rods. Excited to start this new "sport" and see where it takes me!

Have never fly fished before, super excited to learn. I have nothing to compare it to but it came in good shape. It breaks down and packs well in its case, very lightweight. 👍

Ich wollte gerne Fliegenfischen ausprobieren, ohne am Anfang viel Geld zu investieren und habe diese Rute mit Zubehör gekauft. Erster Eindruck: Der beigefügte Hartschalenkoffer stinkt erbärmlich nach Chemie, auch Auswaschen und langes Lüften haben nicht geholfen. Ich musste ihn entsorgen. Die Angel selbst ist sehr gut verarbeitet und optisch schön. Nach Wurftraining auf dem Sportplatz habe ich beim ersten Einsatz mit einer Nassfliege gleich drei Forellen geangelt, eine mit 40cm. Tolle Rutenaktion! Ich habe noch nicht viel Erfahrung mit Fliegenfischen, daher kann ich keine Vergleiche anstellen. Für Einsteiger kann ich dieses Set aber wegen des tollen Preis- Leistungs- Verhältnisses auf jeden Fall unbedingt empfehlen!
