Excellent! Charged up the battery and tidied up my hedge and a couple of shrubs with ease. Light enough this 65 year old grandma with arthritic hands could manage it easily. Would recommend for small gardens, larger hedges etc might need a corded model but the battery lasted 30 minutes of work and hadn’t given up when I’d finished. Not too noisy, cut through the branches of hedge well and zipped across the top smoothly and light enough to keep it level.

Only had it a short time, so I can't say anything about the long term life of the battery. I can however say it cuts through most branches easily and is effortless to use. Good safety feacher, meaning both hands need to be on it, otherwise it turns off. Very light, so even someone with no strength can trim their bushes.It would be better if there was a battery indicator to show how much power is left.

We use this just to take the little growth bits off in between main cuts, works great and good battery life, slower than a corded or petrol trimmer, but a lot lighter

Highly recommended. Anti jamming feature, doesn't come to a screeching grinding halt every couple of minutes !Cuts through hedge & shrubbery like knife through butter, despite being light. A single charge on battery( included ) goes quite a while, enough to take care of most gardens in one go.

It does the job, but you have to hold down very hard for it to start and keep pressing hard. Not like this with electric. I wouldn't use again.

Light and easy to use. Ability to switch battery packs is useful - I've got so many devices with their unique batteries. I now have a few Bosch devices where I can share batteries. Would have preferred to buy this without battery, but I guess its useful to have a fully charged back up for the longer jobs.
