Overall this is a very well engineered product (I'm an engineer). Sturdy with good human factors elements that make it (mostly) easy to operate.Two comments: 1) Without someone in the chair it tends to be "back tipsy", i.e., doesn't take much to push it over backwards, and 2) If you don't want the battery to (slowly) drain when not in use you should switch off the battery... problem is the on/off switch is on the battery pack on the underside of the battery at the very bottom of the unit and you have to know where it is and which way to push as you feel for it in order to (de)activate it.

IMO, this chair cannot be operated safely by one person because it requires the operator to maintain the balance of the 60+lb chair plus weight of the rider In order to guide it up/down steps/stairs while simultaneously holding down the button to motorized the chair. If the button is inadvertently released, it is nearly impossible to regain movement after the momentum is lost.

It is a fantastic product. It has allowed us to keep our apartment that we absolutely love on the second floor instead of having to move because of the stairs that my husband cannot climb anymore. A stairlift was not an option for structural reason. We have been enjoying it since we received it.

This is an absolutely wonderful invention to get my elderly mother up & down the stairs and not having to disrupt our lives to move. The Company MSEC is also very nice to talk with a person in TX and very efficient.

Family member requires dialysis 3 times a week and needs to get out of our home, which has 4 steps in front or through garage. A recent injury prevented mobility up and down stairs. This product solved that problem. Recommend practice runs with empty chair to assure adequate clearance and familiarization with the operation of the chair.

This is a good product and is great if you have stairs in your home. The product is sturdy and it don't take up a lot of space when folded. I wish the foot rest was a little longer otherwise this is a great product. Will recommend.

It has helped us to move mom around 220 lbs up and down the stairs.
