Spearmark Housewares E-Z Freeze Salad To Go Food Container

I love this product and have bought several for friends who now love them too. What these tubs are really good for is keeping ice cubes firm when in a cool bag.The ice cubes will be intact four or five hours after packing your picnic. Perfect for a gin and tonic!

I actually find this a bit too small for a full lunch salad, and the dressing idea is so cleaver but actually it leaked in my boyfriend's bag, covering his stuff in oil! Not good. Also, a built in mini fork would have been useful as with this one you often forget to bring a fork or have to carry it separately.

I find these containers very useful for picnic lunches when i take the children out and about. They keep salads and fruit nice and fresh and they can fit a decent amount in. They are quite chunky as a result, however, and don't fit in my children's lunch bag, so i don't use them when the children are on school trips, only when i'm out with them and have a larger picnic bag. I tend only to freeze the lids, which works perfectly well for my needs. Perhaps if i needed the food to stay cool for longer, then I would freeze the container as well. Overall a very handy product.

Bought 2 of these as part of Xmas presents for friends, and they love them. Ideal for work, and they thought the compartment in the lid was great for the salad dressing, saves the salad going soggy..

This was a little bigger than I was expecting but it works really well. You are supposed to put both the lid and the base in the freezer but we found you only need to put the base in, as the lid is cooled by the base and keeps the dressing nice and chilled. It doesn't give the contents freezer burn and is really easy to clean - a great buy.
