I'm comparing this to a popular liquid detergent that comes in a bright green plastic bottle, which is the last commercial laundry detergent I bought, and so it's what i'm used to using. My first impression was the size and shape of the container. Most liquid detergent comes in awkward shape plastic bottles, and since for my big family I'm usually doing 2-4 loads a day, I prefer the rectangular carton as they stack neat and tidy with no wasted space so I can buy in bulk. I wasn't expecting these cartons to be so small, though. You get 64 loads in one little paper carton as opposed to 64 loads in a big plastic bottle, which also means a neater laundry supply area and a lot less non-biodegradable trash. My second impression was of the scent (I have jasmine) which is really pleasant and not overpowering. My boys and girls alike think it smells good on their clothes. My third impression, and the most important consideration, is how clean it gets the clothes. I have some smelly, sloppy kids, many pets, and we don't use disposable paper products, so my cleaning towels have been washed hundreds or thousands of times. This detergent works just as well as what I'm used to using. Finally, I compared the price to what I had been buying. The price for 64 loads is slightly different, and I do mean slightly, like a few pennies different, which is completely negligible if calculating cost per load or cost per month. Bottom line - you can get the same amount of clean for the same price in a lovely scent, while reducing clutter on the shelves, reducing non-biodegradable trash, and reducing fossil fuels used to ship heavy liquids.

Some start off a bit strong but fade into a light, fresh smell after sitting. I also like the eco-friendly packaging, even if the cardboard box can occasionally arrive a bit worn or leaky. Overall, it’s an effective, long-lasting option that balances strong cleaning power with a more natural, skin-friendly approach.

I'm pretty happy how well this detergent performs. It cleans just as well as the typical brands I usually buy, even on tougher loads. Right out of the wash, it’s stronger and I don't love it but it improves over time. After clothes sit in the closet or drawer for a while, the fragrance settles into a much more subtle freshness. I also appreciate the reduced plastic packaging and the fact that it avoids harsh chemicals. Overall, a solid choice if you’re looking for something effective and more eco-conscious—just give the scent a little time to grow on you.

This detergent really surprised me. My husband is bedridden. His laundry can be pretty foul. I've used a lot of different products in an effort to eliminate stains, and most of all, odors. I liked the idea of the product - highly concentrated, less waste, lighter to carry, and the fragrance choices sounded lovely. Excellent results! I spot treat the icky stuff, and toss in a little vinegar, but just a little of this detergent has been doing a superb job, on every kind of fabric, and the fragrances are the best I've ever had in a detergent of any kind. They smell like the real thing. Not overpowering, and they last a bit. We've been through several cartons. So far the Neroli and Vetiver is my favorite, with Orange Blossom a close second. Whatever this company makes, I'll try it.

My favorite laundry soap! It works beautifully, and it’s truly concentrated so it only takes a tablespoon or two per load. It tackles everything from my kids’ sweaty, smelly sports gear, to my partners’ work clothes that get permeated with various environmental odors—and yet it works great on delicates too. I love that it’s made with clean ingredients. I am sensitive to a lot of soaps and fragrances, and while this does have a strong smell, I’m not personally allergic to any of the three scents I have tried. The “tangerine” scent is by far my favorite. It’s more of an earthy, musky smell than a fruity smell so I’m not sure why they call it tangerine, but regardless it’s a very pleasant scent. I order by the case!

It smells good. It appears to do a good job getting things clean. My container leaked the whole time from arrival to empty so I had to put a plastic bag around the bottom. They need to do something different for the container because several reviews said this. Removed a couple stars for that because it’s a waste and messy. Got all over my cabinet before I noticed.

I had a good experience with it. It cleaned my clothes well and helped remove everyday odors without being overpowering. The Juniper Sandalwood scent was pleasant and lasted after washing, but it wasn’t too strong. I also liked that the detergent is concentrated, so a little goes a long way. The smaller bottle was easy to store and use, and I appreciate that it uses less plastic than traditional detergent containers. Based on my first use, I would consider purchasing this product again in the future.

This Eco friendly laundry detergent is an excellent price for a good quality product. The only reason I gave it four stars is because after I put it in the dryer, the scent disappears. My clothes do smell clean though. I just like that fresh laundry scent.
