I have always had great luck with the Sony Bravia models, so I was very glad to see this model was rated the best for well-lit rooms. My man-cave has big bay windows on both sides, and you can sit anywhere in the room and not get a reflection. The picture is second to none. I had my concerns on how it would arrive on the back of a delivery truck, but I couldn't have been more pleased with the way it was packed and crated. I was the envy of my neighbors as they saw this huge tv arrive and delivered into my driveway. They delivery truck had to roll it out with a pallet jack. It was very secure and once I ran all the screen and sound tests any worries I had washed away. I very highly recommend this model if you want to experience an outstanding picture.

Having now owned this TV for close to 5 weeks now, I can safely say it was absolutely worth the price. This set delivers on everything you can possibly want in a LCD panel. The Tv is bright, with fantastic backlight control which limits blooming to an absolute minimum. The XR processor combined with XR Clear image presents an image with such detail, and clarity that I have not seen before. The image has phenomenal depth, and out of the box the color , and overall image seem very accurate. Watching movies, and playing games that support HDR formats look great, and overall for me it is the best TV on the market. I have even compared this TV to an LG G3, which which was great, but having the 85 inch size, with no fear of burn in made this the better choice for me.

This TV is a true unicorn. Sony managed to get all of the right ingredients with this one and it is a stunner. In my mind it's the true successor to the Z9D.Top notch color, razor sharp image, unbelievable upscaling (especially for an 85") and a truly natural looking image.Blooming is truly rare and so well controlled without crushing the shadow detail.Rtings.com just put up their review and I definitely recommend checking it out.If you are looking for something that is in the ballpark of an OLED contrast wise.. but bigger.. this might just be your TV. Amazing for bright living rooms or dark home theater rooms.

Be aware, if mounting this TV on a wall, the mounting holes on the back of the TV are not centered vertically. They are 8" below center. Mount your wall bracket accordingly, or your TV will end up 8" higher on the wall than you intended.

Amazing TV with the best picture ever from an LCD TV. Inky blacks match mt OLED it replaced with no noticeable blooming. The Sony picture processing is the real deal. Even old SD quality content is upscaled to 4K and looks very good, the motion is studder free and the best possible sports viewing device available today. I couldn't be more happy with any TV. Even though I did not buy from Amazon, I definitely recommend the TV wholeheartedly!

Picture is stunning. Setup is good. Menu structure is good. BUT BUT BUT Sonys claim about the "anti reflection screen" is total hogwash. It's like a mirror. Worse than my Samsung 82" from 5 years ago.It's tremendous in a dark room. But almost unusable in normal light like a family room with some windows.Yes I guess I can get window coverings and darken the room in the day time. I don't want to.
