FOR A DIFFICULT STAIN, LIKE OIL, OR A TOMATO BASED SAUCE STAIN, I LET IT SET FOR A FEW HOURS. IT HAS RARELY REMOVED ANY COLOR FROM THE STAINED FABRICS. I HAVE USED IT EXCLUSIVELY, FOR 4 DECADES!!!
