Good magnifier with light
Got this for my husband because he has trouble seeing to read. He really likes this magnifier and the light. It really helps a lot.

Good magnifying reader

Works good
The light is really bright. Love that it has a dimmer switch, which is great for reading at night. It's a bit awkward trying to hold a book, the magnifier and turning pages.

Doesn't magnify very well, but the frame is what is most horribly made
I'm sorry to trash this product, but it was surprisingly apparent just how badly this thing is made, right out of the box. It actually makes me angry that these things will all just end up straight in the landfill. You have to place your batteries into a little area in the frame. It is almost impossible to open the little door to the battery area without breaking the frame or cracking the face of the magnifier. If you are lucky enough to get that open, you have to force the 3 batteries into a very tight channel, and then you have to hope that you can force the plastic door to close properly. Using the magnifier is ok, but not great...images don't magnify too many times bigger and are not super clear looking. but the WORST part is when the batteries die, it actually IS IMPOSSIBLE to remove all 3 of the batteries. They are just stuck in there. I called Amazon to return it, but I wanted my batteries back. I told them that the only way I could do this would be to crack the frame open. They instructed me to do that and then to return it to them. It is a wasteful product...and shocking that it is priced at $20. Though, I would be returning it, eve if it were 3 dollars. It is worthless. How on earth did it ever pass quality control to be manufactured??

Reading at night
The media could not be loaded. I love this because I can read at night and just illuminate the pages I’m reading. No glasses needed!

G reat help for macular degeneration
I've been looking for a stronger magnifying glass for Macular degeneration. It's hard to find something above 4X and this product is 5X. I just received this and I am so happy that I ordered another one. It also comes with a 5X magnifying glass for my purse. It's been quite a challenge when I go shopping and try to figure out prices so now I can use this new smaller Magnifying glass to see better And alleviate frustration trying to see prices. A great product!

Made of plastic not very clear view
The size of the screen is good and theLight but not a clear view, made of poor plastic would have liked this to be made of quality glass.
