There is too much air inside of the disk for the sand to drop, so when you flip it it falls for 2 seconds before it stops completely. returned the first one and replaced it, and it was the same problem on the second one.

It looks great and the light works perfectly however there is a bit too much air in mine and the sand will stall and never fall. I can’t seem to find the point to put mor liquid in it.

I love the idea of this lamp. It’s so gorgeous and works great. Except for the sand scape is filled with large bubbles like the other reviewers said and this stops the sands from falling. It’s really frustrating to keep tapping it hoping the bubbles pop.

Wow, this table lamp is really cool. The design is innovative and the rotatable sand art painting disc is both entertaining and calming. I was really excited about playing with the different colors and color combinations -- so many light modes and dimmable, too. In addition, there is a USB port so you can charge your phone, smart watch or whatever device you have that can be charged with USB (I have lots of rechargeable flameless candles so this is really a useful feature). There is also 10W wireless charging ability. This is really an awesome table lamp. I do have some suggestions for improvement: 1) the cord could be a little longer, the 1 meter cord limits the place where you can put the lamp. It can't be close to my bedside because the outlet is more than 1 meter away. I needed to use an extension cord or relocate the lamp. 2) The lamp has an adaptor plug that has a blue light on it when it is plugged. During daytime, the blue light doesn't bother me, but it becomes very bright and distracting at night when all the other lights are turned off. Some people cannot sleep when there is any kind of light on (like my husband) so we had to turn the lamp off. The solution that we have is to just put a black tape around the light and that seems to have solved the problem. But it would really be better if there is no blue light on that adaptor plug. 3) Wouldn't it be cool if in the future, there would be a rechargeable version of this lamp? That would mean you can take or put it anywhere you want since you don't have to worry about outlets. The possibilities are endless. These are just suggestions -- the lamp is still a prized possession and I enjoy having it.

Sand doesn’t move. Remote doesn’t work. It’s stuck on RGB patterns that are headache inducing. I should have known this was a piece of junk from the price point.

I got this for my son's room. He loves it, the light is adjustable in terms of brightness and colors so he can sleep well even with it on. He likes to flip it over and fall asleep to watching the sand slowly fall down. Then when he wakes up the design is totally different than yesterday!He did accidentally drop it once and it's still working just fine so I'd call that a win! It really is quite pretty and I enjoy watching it myself sometimes.
