This poses a safety concern on most airlines, I guess it hinders a person's ability to get in and out of the seat? I was planning on using it to catch toys, crayons etc. Not sure how stable it would be to lay on but we didn't get that far before we had to take it down. Please check with your airline before purchasing.

Long story short, we moved to Japan. My husband is in the military so we move often. This has been a game-changer. We bring it on every plane ride. It has become very useful to me. I am able to give my child more space to just play and she is able to sleep comfortably.
